GCASH had become the leading BSP-regulated mobile wallet service here in the Philippines. In fact GCASH has already gain 20 million users and more than 60,000 merchant partners, nationwide. Aside from that, there are tons of other services GCASH app is offering to anyone who would install the app and be using it.
Personally, GCASH always comes in handy during my payment transactions whenever I’ll be going out to shop or to dine. That blue square qr code found beside the cashiers desk has always been something I’m spotting whenever I’m entering a shop. Using GCASH eases me the burden of counting cash and coins or even bringing money for payment, and even gives me that hassle free experience of transferring money to love ones.
And speaking transferring money, I find it more beneficial and easy to transfer money to your friends or family via GCASH or even load up or send money to your GCASH compare to doing the usual way; the old school over the counter, online banking transactions.
And there are a lot of ways to do it. You can send money to GCASH via over the counter methods, online banking methods, and money transfer channels.
To start loading your GCASH account, here is a simple guide to do it:
- Open your GCash app and select Cash in.
- Choose from over-the-counter methods or online banking methods, which can also be found under Bank Transfer.
- If you are transferring money to GCash from an international account, you can choose from one of the remittance options. GCash has partnered with money transfer channels such as Western Union, Moneygram and AlipayHK, which are popular among overseas Filipino workers.
- If you choose over-the-counter cash-in, GCash has 15,000 partner outlets that will accept transfers to your GCash account. You can simply choose one.
- Lastly, If you prefer to do online banking, there are 36 banks that will allow you to link your bank account with GCash so you can move your money from your bank to your GCash app. Just make sure you check if your bank charges fees for such transfers.
Actually, I prefer doing the Online Banking methods for I would not need to go out to visit the accredited over the counter stores. All the transactions are happening on my phone. That simple way of sending money to my GCASH account via online banking (which I can simply do less than a minute) gives me that extra time to do more.
Just a tip: As of July 2019, the cash-in limit is P50,000 per day, but that should be enough to cover most of your daily transactions. Isn’t it?
And because GCASH is more than just a mobile wallet service, just like what I said, there are other things you can do just by using the app. GCash is known for its financial services, which include the first fully mobile credit line through GCredit; the highest interest earning on savings through GSave; and accessible insurance and investment options through Invest Money and GCash Insure.
Now, would that be enough for you join the crowd and download the app? Do let me know which of the following GCASH services you loved the most. And oh, have you seen the new GCASH logo?
