It was not too long ago when the song “Kumapit ka lang” composed by Noemi Ocio and Interpreted by Mela was hailed as last years, grand winner. This time, the 12 ‘A Song of Praise’ (ASOP) Music Festival Finalists have already been announced and in just a few days one lucky composer will again take home Php 500,000 cash prize. Congratulations to Christian Malinias, for bagging “Song of the year” for A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 4! The song “KUNG PAG-IBIG MO’Y ULAN” was interpreted by Ms. Leah Patricio and Christian took home Php 500,000.00 for winning the grand prize.
Rolan is a tricycle driver and been doing this job for quite a long time already. Amazingly, aside from his driving skills he was given a talent to write songs. And his job as a tricycle driver and God’s daily blessings inspires him to create a feel good song entitled “IKAW NA LANG MAG-DRIVE NG BUHAY KO.”
Rolan’s song luckily has been included as one of the twelve finalist for this years “A Song of Praise Music festival 2015.”
No wonder, Beverly Caimen bagged the Best Interpreter Award of the night, with her rendition of the song “May Awa ang Dios” writen by Louise Lyle Robles which eventually hailed as the grand prize winner of A Song of Praise Music Festival year 3.
Marlon Nabia’s “Sa Bawat Araw” placed first runner up sang by Shane Velasco. Second runner up for the song “Tanging Gabay” composed by Arniel Villagonza, interpreted by Rachelle Alejandro, while the song “Biyaya” composed by Meldin Nabia interpreted by Bayang Barrios placed third.
Veteran Actor and Director, Cesar Montano climb his way up to the Grand Finals of A Song of Praise or ASOP Music Festival year 3 with his composition “Sa Awit Kong ito”.
With the rendition of band vocalist Mcoy Fundales, the song composition got the attention of the panel of judges namely, Dingdong Avanzado, Sheryl Cruz at Mon del Rosario.
