In the Philippines, unMEAT was first introduced through Shakey’s Pizza’s newest offering, the Goood Burger. It has since attracted a small cult following in the few weeks it has top-billed Shakey’s Pizza chain’s foray to burgers.
What does opening a 200th store feels like? Well it is a question I couldn’t answer but something Shakeys’ could. Shakey’s just recently opened up their 200th store located at Paseo de Magallanes in Makati City. Bringing the brand to a new level of WOW, the 200th store takes the family casual dining up a notch by adding new elements that have never before seen in other branches. This includes a piano as an ode to the early years of Shakey’s, where music became an integral part of the brand.
Shakey’s have invited me over to one of their branch located in Quezon Avenue to tastes thier ever-dependable menu and witness the launch of their biggest fan – Luis Lucky Manzano. Quezon Avenue branch is one of the biggest I’ve visited for aside from having a large area for dining, this Shakey’s branch also got a function room for private occasions and an arcade area for the kids (and kids-at-heart).
