Fur-tastic day at Cat Cafe Manila – Maginhawa, Quezon City

Our cat (who visits our house to look for food), is originally owned by our neighbor, just recently gave birth to four cute kittens! I thought the mom recently placed it outside our house but a few days ago, we found them hiding inside my closet. All the kittens are girls and got the same features like their mom who I think is partly Japanese Bobtail, they all got short tails.

I was so into cats recently and it was a fur-pect timing for my friend to invite me for some coffee, so I suggested for us to visit Cat Cafe located in Maginhawa, Quezon City.

So after being lost for so many times, I decided to write this post on how to get to PETA if your coming from North EDSA.

Heres how to commute from North EDSA to PETA Theater.

Via MRT-Jeep – Take the MRT, get off at Araneta Centre Station. Do a short walk from Farmer’s Plaza till you exit at Aurora Blvd. Take a jeep or FX going to España or Quiapo, then get off at Eymard drive, walk from Eymard corner E. Rodriguez. PETA-PHINMA Theater is located at the far end, right side.

Cherry Gil for PETA’s Arbol de Fuego

Capping the Philippine Educational Theater Association’s 47th season is ‘Arbol de Fuego’, Rody Vera and Loy Arcenas reimagining of Anton Checkov’s classic film Cherry Orchard.

Arbol de Fuego is a tragicomedy about middle-aged matriarch Enriquetta Jardeleza-Sofronio, played by the veteran actress Cherie Gil, who comes home after having squandered the family fortune on a long stay in Madrid. Buried in debt, she and younger brother Adjie (essayed by Jake Macapagal) is advised to sell the flourishing rows of fire trees that frame the estate. The Jardelezas instead, throw party after lavish party, reminiscing their opulent past in an effort to forget their depleting wealth.

PETA presents a Back to Back ‘Workshop Weekends’

And for those of you who have missed it, heres a good news! Starting on October 11 and ending on December 7, 2014, PETA is giving another opportunity for aspiring thespians to further their skill in acting and theatre.

Additional classes are going to be opened to accommodate more enrolees ranging from beginners to intermediate aspirants. The courses for the Workshop Weekends 2 are: Theater Arts, Basic Acting, Creative Musical Theater I, and Creative Musical Theater II.

For those who’re looking to take on a challenge, PETA offers two advanced courses in Basic Acting and Creative Musical Theater II.
