Palawan’s Famous Homegrown Haim Chicken Now Open for Franchise

AFTER 19 YEARS of satisfying the palate of the Palaweños, the famous Palawan homegrown Haim Chicken extends its arms to catering to more Filipinos from across the Philippine archipelago as it is now officially open for franchise.

‘Haim’ simply means ‘New Beginning,’ said 27-year old owner John Yayen who now helps manage Haim Chicken with his brother James, 25. True to its name, offering Haim Chicken for franchise is a fresh start not only for its owners entering a bigger playing field but for Palawan food flavors to be offered and devoured outside the borders of the globally-known island paradise.

Win a trip for 4 to Batanes, Boracay, Cebu, Davao, or Palawan with Watsons “Make Your Summer” campaign

One thing that I’ve learned from my recent consultation with Dr. Lalaine Salazar of Svelt-i is the importance of using sunblock on a daily basis. Yes, not only on a summer season but as much as possible, everyday. According to her using sunblock are one of the usual secret for an ageless beauty.

That thought actually made me more excited to attend the recent Watsons “Make Your Summer” campaign which highlights different sunblock brands carried by Watsons. The event was held at SM MOA activity center which was attended by mostly beauty and lifestyle bloggers, VIP’s and other celebrities.

Exploring The Islands of Coron via Coron Island Tours

On the second day of our stay at the Island, Club Paradise prepared a whole day activity for us. From the many packages they offer, we decided to pick the Coron Tours as it is highly suggested by most of the staff. It felt like an international tour because most of the people we were with in the boat were foreigners.

A Dream Vacation: Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan

Waking up at two in the afternoon is a regular thing for me. It’s been a year since I’ve change my sleeping routine because of work. It was a Sunday, I got up and cooked late lunch. While I was sitting at my table, I remembered something. A memory that seems like a dream. Six hours ago (as we were writing this article), I was waving goodbye to the very accommodating crew of Club Paradise in Palawan. It was surreal and it felt like the whole experience was just a dream.

We arrived at Busuanga around 9:45am. It was a 45 minute or less flight. Coron is located at the northern part of Palawan, quite near Manila. Busuanga is the only airport located in the island of Coron. Everything in the airport is being done manually, from weighing, checking and even unloading and reloading of bags. From the airport, we headed towards our a picturesque stretch of cattle farms, a river, the ocean then to our accommodation at Club Paradise in Palawan. We wanted a hassle free stay so this was the perfect choice. From the airport, a van is already waiting for us outside. This I think is the only means of transportation you could use on your way to the island.
