SIARGAO is an official entry for #MMFF2017, produced by Ten17p Films. The movie starred Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales, Jasmine Curtis-Smith with Luke Landrigan, Wil Dasovich, Mica Javier, Roxanne Barcelo, Will Devaughn, Suzette Ranillo and Leon Miguel. Produced by Mark Viktor and the director himself Paul Soriano.
“Seklusyon” is a brave movie that do away from the usual Filipino scary films but instead touch your inner self to think about that one big terror in your life you couldn’t let go. That is just how I look at the film and will let you do your own interpretation about it.
I was a big fan of MMFF movie when I was a kid. I was always looking forward of watching the horror and fantasy film entries for the film festival which off course through the expense of my parents. It was a yearly activity of my family (a long time ago) to go out, have dinner and watch one or two films.
To tell you honestly, it was my first time to watch an indie film on the big screen. I’ve been wanting to attend the yearly Cinemalaya but for so many unexpected reasons, I wasn’t able to do so.
A few weeks ago, AJ Dee (thefilodapper.com) invited me over to watch his indie film, which later on has been included as one of the entry for this years MMFF in the New Wave – Indie Film category.
