I once encountered a major problem using one of my credit cards. One time a bill amounting to 47, 000 was sent over to me. I was shocked on that moment knowing that I didn’t even use the card at a span of a month or two. I was devastated to learn that it was maliciously used online spending till it reaches the credit limit. I reported the incident instantly but for months, I carry the burden of knowing that this incident can mark my name in that bank. Luckily, after a month-long investigation the bank waived everything.
In my early years, I really don’t believe with owning a credit card. I always say no if someone would offer. I usually say “Owning one would only make me live in debts.” But as I grew older, I realized the importance of having one. I can leave the house without cash or even support my parents just by using card extensions. Currently, I actually don’t own just one, I have six, three of which is from Citibank!
