Our last day in Yogyakarta is one of the most pleasurable I could say for the itinerary is very light and concentrate more about shopping. Specially, for me who chooses to pick shopping instead of doing the heritage/cultural exploration.
It was a long day already and it was like a tickle in our head when the word “Hotel” was mentioned. It was an hour and a half drive from Java to Yogyakarata making us do the usual thing of getting some rest and sleep on the way to the next location. (Read: Ullen Sentalu Museum)
On our arrival at Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel in Yogyakarta, a welcoming party was waiting, greeting us and offering some fresh towelette and refreshing drink. It was great the Ministry of Tourism organizers have manage to always do hotel transfers flawlessly making a more worry free travel for all the participants.
I believe that there is a perfect bag that suits any activity you’re planning to do. For long trips or a weeklong vacations a carry on bag would be perfect. For a quick stroll in the mall, a small purse or shoulder bag is the bag I usually bring. On a tour – I prefer wearing a belt bag or a sling bag where I can put in my passport and small stuff that could fit in. If I’m going to the gym, of course a gym bag fits the job. And for my day to-day activity, I prefer bringing a backpack, which is absolutely easy to carry and manage.
Nothing beats a visit in a museum if you are really looking for a true cultural exploration. Interesting information and tons (and tons) of cultural discoveries is what we had when we visited one of the best museum in Yogyakarta, Indonesia located at the foot of Mount Merapi – the Ullen Sentalu Museum.
Most of the influencers (aside from those who don’t know how to bike) got super excited when we saw the bikes lined up with matching blue balloons on the starting point of the tour in Wanurejo Village. I’ve been biking since I was in the elementary years and my family loves cycling too making us own a few bicycles in our house in the Philippines. This makes me more eager to join this activity here in Yogyakarta.
