I admit it, I am not a Super Junior Fan, that is why a week before the concert I found myself googling about them. I may have known (or heard) one of their hit songs but still it is in Korean. Nevertheless, my inner Koreanovela addict were triggered after seeing the famous boy-band performed.

Filipinos talent when it comes to singing is unquestionable. We all know that we can go at par with international singers when it comes to belting it out. But even we got the looks and the qualities needed to penetrate that market there is still something that probably lacks in our music industry.
A big question that is need to be answered: Why does even we have great singers we still haven’t got Filipino international artists?
When we talk about Filipino artist who have created numerous hit songs and is still relevant in our era, APO Hiking Society would definitely pop in my mind. If you are someone who haven’t heard their name yet, well, you might have heard most of their hit songs that were remade by some of our local artist.
Some of it includes ‘Yakap sa Dilim’ by Orange and Lemons, ‘Ewan’ by Imago, ‘Doo Bidoo’ by Kamikazee, ‘Batang Bata ka pa’ by Sugrafree to name a few. These songs were actually part of 2006 Tribute Album ‘Kami nAPO muna’.

We all want to achieve success in our life. One could be able to do that in long period of time, while others made it a bit quicker. Though we shouldn’t be too stress on thinking about it. Remember life isn’t a race, it is living. I guess we all just have our own timeline to follow. In this day and age, the sky is the limit when it comes to the goals we want to achieve as we continue to dream and create, capped only by our imagination.
