Experiencing the Swiss Vibrancy of The Swissotel Clark

Pampanga has always been a place in mind whenever friends or love ones asked me for a quick escape in the city. Known for its delicious and heavenly dishes, Pampanga also offers beautiful destinations, landmarks, cultural activities, entertainment and 5-star accommodation.

And speaking of accommodation, I had a chance to visit recently one of the newest hotel you can consider here in Clark, Pampanga, make way to Accor’s Swissotel Clark

The Swissôtel Clark shines forth as a model of Swiss vibrancy and sustainability from the center of the Clark Freeport Zone, the hub of Central Luzon’s thriving economic and tourism development. At a minimum of 22 stories, it dominates the competition as the region’s highest office tower. The smoke-free hotel is conveniently located within the Hann Casino Resort complex, so one can enjoy all the amenities of Clark, Pampanga without ever having to leave the premises.

Riding the brand new Ford Territory, we were able to arrive from Manila to Clark for an hour and a half only. To how I experience it, the Ford Ecosport Territory is somehow same, but different to Ford Ecosport. They have almost same size and built, but in terms of safety and convenience, the Ford Territory exceeded the latter for it is equipped with blind spot monitoring and a 360-degree view camera, among other gadgets.

Upon our arrival, we were instantly assisted and brought straight at the reception area. For our two day stay, we will be getting 2-two bedroom suite. But before we go inside the room, let’s explore first what Swissotel Clark can offer.

Swissotel Clark have 10 different restaurants to choose from, ranging from Asian street food to real Italian, and 5 state-of-the-art meeting spaces, several of which are open until the wee hours of the morning. A resort-style infinity pool with panoramic mountain views awaits you, and the only alpine spa in the Philippines (Soon to open) will help you unwind while you’re not closing business deals or exploring the area.

Here on a family vacation? The kids will enjoy the dedicated pool area, perfect for water play in the sun, while parents can take advantage of the on-demand babysitting service to relax. Are you hoping to enjoy Angeles City’s many forms of entertainment? You won’t have to venture far to have fun, as the property features both a casino and some of the hippest bars in the area. Our North Metro Manila hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Clark International Airport, making it ideal for business or leisure travelers (CRK).

Swissotel Clark 5-star Accommodation

Swissôtel Clark rooms and suites, located on floors 6 through 22, have breathtaking, unobstructed views of the city or the mountains from floor to ceiling windows. What I got was a city view while Rod which is just a few rooms away got the same. The room was good enough for 2-3 people, but can still be fine up to 4.

The natural light coming from the floor to ceiling window floods the space, complementing the sleek, modern furniture and calming color palette of creams, greys, and browns. You can count on thoughtful extras like free high-speed WiFi, cable and satellite TV channels, and USB charging ports to keep you connected and entertained. I also love that hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also available in the room.

What else can the room do to make me feel at ease? A king-sized bed with a Posturepedic mattress, and a marble bathroom with a rain shower or soaking tub. Suite guests can also enjoy complimentary breakfast and beverages at the MARKT located the ground floor.

Swiss Advantage Rooms

With 46 square meters of area, Swissotel Swiss Advantage Rooms are a modern haven with a neutral color scheme accented by red details. These rooms are almost the same with the other suites with just an added space and almost 180 degree windows.

The unique Swiss design of each room is warmed up by the incorporation of colorful details like patterned throw pillows on the sofa and an upholstered headboard, which draw attention to the breathtaking vistas of the city or mountains beyond. Relax with a drink from the minibar and take in the city skyline as the sun goes down. Watch a movie on the 55-inch TV to unwind after a long day of meetings. The luxurious marble accents and powerful rain shower in the bathroom are sure to revive you. Once the day is done, the king bed with its Posturepedic mattress invites for a restful night’s sleep.

OMAS

Oma’s, the great dessert bar in the lobby’s quaint little café, is a tribute to all grandmothers. It was a treat even if just looking at the shops window.  I think the welcoming food at our room when we arrived came here. A must try are Oma’s fruit-glazed cheesecake and the ganache-topped cupcake.  Showmanship seekers should try the teppanyaki ice cream, which is made tableside using a teppanyaki grill. There is a wide variety of beverages to choose from, including bubble teas, gourmet coffees, and delicious milkshakes, reflecting the restaurant’s global clientele.
