#LOVELAGUNA is the newest TOURISM campaign created by the Provincial Government of Laguna to strengthen tourism in the province and to encourage both local and foreign tourists to visit and enjoy the place. It also aims to revitalize and give hope to the Lagunense especially those who are solely dependent on the tourism business and were greatly affected by the pandemic.
The event was led by the Provincial Governor himself, Gov. Ramil Hernandez along with the provincial mayors who also supported the campaign.
said Gov. Ramil Hernandez.
The campaign #LoveLaguna highlights the following;
- Love Food – Taste the traditional cuisine and delicacies that are proudly made by Lagunenses.
- Love Culture – Immerse in the rich culture and history of Laguna.
- Love Adventure – Laguna offers plenty of sites for adrenaline-pumping activities that you’ll love.
- Love Nature – Be amazed by Laguna’s bountiful natural wonders.
- Love People- Be inspired by Lagunense’s stories and talents.
Along with the launch, a 4-day trade fair called “Likhang Laguna” was also held, within the grounds of the Town Municipal Hall, which showcases the different products that you can shop and source out here in Laguna.
Some of my favorites include Annie’s Espasol, Lola Luming Home Made pasalubong, Pinana Pineapple Specialties, and of course handicrafts like pandan bayong, Barong Tagalog, wood carvings, and more.
Moreover, a mini-exhibit from the talented Lagunense artist was displayed at the newly built Provincial Capitol. The exhibit includes works from Romer ” Pio” Kagayutan, Amador Barquilla, and Jeff Dahilan.
Soon, a website and application dedicated to provincial tourism will also be launched to better serve visitors to this beautiful province.
