I think I am one of those people who have seen these products in grocery store and supermarket and thought that it was an imported product. Well, just a few days ago, I prove myself wrong. Meet the ‘Hari ng Chocolate‘ – Harry Chocolate and ‘Ang Wacky sa Sarap‘ – Wackie Corn Chips!
And yes, these two are 100 percent locally made by Yan Yan International Philippines Inc., and is now being sold in your favorite grocery, convenience store and supermarket nationwide.
Continue reading and will tell you more about these two yummy products I just recently discovered.
“Be true to yourself! Be Authentic! Be Real! And have fun while you’re doing it!” is how Wackie Corn Chips and Harry Chocolate Bars wanted to convey to its audience. And this I could say is so true to many individuals, whether your the kind of person who wanted to make a mark in the industry, or a parent who’s juggling duties at work and home, or probably a young teenager who’s just beginning to discover the beauty of the world.
Since 2017, Wackie Corn Chips and Harry Chocolates have been gaining ground since its release. And finally, just a few days ago, Yanyan International’s Harry Chocolate and Wackie Corn Chips were finally launched and introduce to the public. The event was held at Gloria Maris in Greenhills and was well attended by VIPs, media, bloggers and other key personalities.
I was lucky to be part of it and was able to meet as well the people behind the brand. Yan Yan International also let us taste the different varieties both Harry Chocolate and Wackie Corn Chips have.
Wackie Corn Chips comes in six variants: Salted Egg, Cheese, BBQ, Hot Chili, Wasabi, and Turkey. My favorite among the 6 is the salted egg and Hot Chili. Wackie takes pride on having the first ever corn chips in the market having a salted-egg flavor.
In Mini stop the Wackie Corn Chips Salted Egg in 60g is priced at Php 38, while 7-eleven its Php 30 (60g salted egg). In Snack Exchange the Salted Egg in 98g is priced at Php 48 while in Puregold, all flavors excluding the salted egg in 60g are priced at Php 22.25.
On the other hand, Harry Chocolate Bars comes in three variants: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and Milk Chocolate with Rice Crispies. I personally love the dark chocolate and oh, because I love that kind of crunch, Milk Chocolate with Rice Crispies comes next.
According to Mr. Lito Chua, President of Yan Yan International Inc., “We invest in the quality of our products. We real;ly gop out of the way to source the best ingredients, fin the best technology that processes the food, and make them ensure that they are safe, healthy, and fun to eat.”
And ohh, just so you know Yan Yan International was also the company for some of our favorite snack food, breads and beverages that we usually buy in our favorite sari-sari store – Lumpia Shanghai, Cheep Chips, Koolers, and Quench Juice Drinks, King Corn, Karoke, Melles Butte Cheese Loaf breads, etc..
Yan Yan International Inc. newest product line Wackie Corn Chips and Harry Chocolate Bars is already available nationwide in 7-Eleven, Mini Stop, Alfa Mart, All Day, Puregold, SM Supermarket, SM Snack Exchange, SM Hypermarket, South Supermarket, Isetann, Landmark, Super 8, SRS, Cash and Carry, Unitop, Unimart, Hi Top, and Budget King.
