June 2019 has been a bit slow but I was able to really re-connect with some friends I haven’t really seen for quite a long time. In this month, I was able to fly back again to Boracay, explored Angeles City through RedDoorz, had an awesome time building unity with my team at work, attended different events and concerts, and even walked the runway like a real model (crossing out one of my dreams to do).
Let me take you back on my days in June 2019.

I tagged Rod Magaru today to Angeles City and try the RedDoorz services by booking an accommodation in that place. We stayed at Poleng Suites, had dinner at a Thai Restaurant and walk our way towards Walking Street. We had a quick swimming session at the pool and tried to sing our hearts out using his new Karaoke.

From Angeles City, I ask Rod to bring me back to SM Marilao to meet up with my brothers and Dad. My brothers and I set up a date with dad to watch an action movie showing on that day. Funny that on our way to Marilao, both I and Rod felt an aching stomach. I think we are both having an LBM. Aside from that, one of the tire exploded. From Meycauayan exit we drove our way to SM Marilao with a flat tire, minding to find a CR first before tending to the other problem.
We watch John Wick afterward sort of like a treat for our dad’s for his birthday.

My supervisor called for a meeting early morning today and gave us an update about the department. It was both positive and negative and I believe that we, my teammates, really need to step up and deliver as soon as possible.
At around 2 pm, I met up with my Theater actor friend Giob Rodriguez, he is currently part of the play “Huling El Bimbo,” I ask him out to join me in visiting Laptop Factory in Gilmore. There we found an awesome lineup of laptops at a very affordable price. After this, I brought Giob to Robinsons Magnolia and let ‘he try this famous milk tea brand, Presotea.
At around 7 pm, we were already in Smart Araneta to watch “The Singer and the Song” Album launch, where new songs composed by veteran composers for the Wishfuls were presented to the audience. Aside from that, the album also receives a Gold and Platinum award from the record company.

Rehearsal for the upcoming midyear event. We are going to perform an excerpt from Beauty and the Beast and guess what, I am playing Gaston. We only have two days to practice and I can really feel the pressure right now.
Right after the quirk runthrough. I went back to UNTV old building to meet up with my former school group TUP Bread Society Alumni.
In the evening Rod and I had dinner and quick photoshoot. And then I spent the rest of the evening marathoning the new Black Mirror season 5 episodes!

The day of our mid-year corporate activity happened. I was part of Group 10 and was assigned to lead the team. On this day, our goal was to be on top against all the other 9 teams. We created our own cheering routine, was able to finish almost all of the obstacles and mind games and performed “The Beauty and the Beast” excerpt we were practicing a few days ago. We were surprised and thankful that we were able to place 2nd even though we felt that we were so unprepared. Good job teammates!

After our work activity, I decided to book a room at Hotel Impressa for a night. Early in this morning, I joined the Motorcycle Training held at ADD Convention Center, then in the afternoon, visited the clinic to have an Ultrasound and finish my APE. The result was all negative. Thank God!

I visited Parkland installation located at Uptown Mall. At around 6 pm, I met up Enzo and had dinner at Village Tavern. We also had a chance to watch the new X-Men movie.

So I spend 10k today buying different stuff at Digital Walker coz they are on sale! Like Madness! 90% off! I was done shopping at around 1230 pm. Went home. Clean the house and met up Rod to borrow his car.
We also had a chance to try Hodai Restaurant which is located just across our house.

It was a really fruitful day, starting with my meeting with Wanderskye in Makati. Glad that they included me in their list.
After lunch, I went straight to BGC to work at CBTL till 6. Then went straight to F1 hotel to attend the launch of UNIQ better by Design.
Rushing back to QC, I decided to ride an Angkas going home and went straight to the launch of ‘Roses fro Ben’, which I slightly missed. I arrived when it was time for the photo ops.

I decided to go home today for I was supposed to meet up with my brother and give a gift to my father. I also brought the kids some pasalubong and fell asleep after I had lunch, it was unfortunate that It was already late when I woke up, making me rush to go back to QC. I wasn’t really able to do the photoshoot I intentionally needed to do today.
At around 7 pm, I tag Jericho to visit Serenitea in SM North EDSA and met up with Rod at around 10 pm to watch MIB 2.

I was able to watch Roses for Ben through the invitation of my stage actor friend Dene Gomez. Held at Arts Above in West Avenue, Roses for Ben talks about the reality of a person who suffers the complications of HIV and how society reacts to it. The play was truly promising and one would definitely learn something from watching it. Roses for Ben definitely need to be shown on a bigger stage. Congrats to all the production members as well as to the cast of the play especially to my friend Dene.
After the play, I had dinner at Mushroom Burger and booked a ride going to Milanos Residences to celebrate Lharby’s birthday. I went home around 3 am in the morning. Here are some snaps at the event.

Booked a trip to Boracay because of the mishaps that happen with Royal Air. It was a really bad idea dealing with them.

Went to the station early in the morning to join our team meeting. In the evening, I went straight to BGC to meet up Natasha Ledesma and Jenny Fajardo to chill and hang at Village Tavern. It has been a while since I’ve seen these two and a lot had happened already in our life. Jenny and Natasha were my co-host in the defunct show Bread n’ Butter (Aside from the original hosts – Ate Kitt Meily and Ate Arlene Razon).
After our dinner, I tried my best to join Eddie, Mj, Ruth and Rod at Podium, but unfortunately they were all gone when I arrived.
After our dinner, I went straight home, pack my bags and left straight to the airport so I would not miss our early morning flight to Caticlan.

We stayed at Savoy Hotel Boracay. On our first day, we don’t really have a plan but to just work and sleep at the hotel. In the evening we met up with Mj and Jr to have dinner in Station 2.

The same thing, our goal was to just chill and relax the whole day. I was able to go to church as well even though our local was a bit hard to locate. In the evening, we chill and had dinner at the Two Seasons Hotel. We also met up my blogger friend Joel Andrada who is now living in Boracay.

Last day in Boracay, we visited Llig-Lligan beach, we stayed in the pool the whole afternoon and then went down to station 3 to have dinner.

Last breakfast at Savoy Hotel Boracay. We left the hotel at 9am, our flight was at 1240pm. It was sad that Royal Air wasn’t really able to meet up the requirements we were supposed to get from the deal we had from them. Making us spent again for a flight back to Manila. The booking was already expensive having it booked a day before our flight. It was a totally bad experience that instead of just relaxing the whole time, we were thinking if Royal Air can still make their promises come true.
We arrive at Clark International Airport around 2 pm.
Had late lunch and hop into the P2P ride which I think more convenient than taking a Grab coming to NAIA.

I did not go to work today. I went out early to join Kultura x Marian Rivera launch. I was selected as one of the ramp models for the event, along with other notable personalities in the industry. The program begins at 3 pm, each of the influencers styled their own outfit, sporting the new Kultura shirts specifically designed by Marian Rivera.
After the event, I had late lunch with Eric Cua, we settle down at CBTL afterward to work and then met up Rod and had dinner and watched the last full show of “Clarita.”

My first activity today was to go to my skincare clinic – Svelti. It has been a while since I’ve visited this place, and this time around I am ready to make my skin a priority. For this day, I tried Thermogenic, which is a machine that had an effect like I was inside a sauna, then I had the usual facial, a Gluta drip and another session for the tummy.
I also met up Dr. Lalaine, who granted my request to do the peeling. She said that this month was the perfect time to do it for the rainy season already started.
After my session, I met up with the owner of GOODGOODPH which is a new milk tea house in Quezon City. I hope our plans would push through this July.

I finally had the time to see a doctor. I have been bearing the ache and stress in the back of my neck for almost a month now and I was worried what was it all about. According to my friend Doctor, this might be a complication in the muscle. It was also the diagnostic of the doctor I’ve seen today at Myhealth Clinic in SM North EDSA.
According to the assessment, I was experiencing a mild Myofascial Pain in the neck. This was an accumulative effect caused by stress, improper posture, sleeping position, inactivity etc. It was like the muscle fiber has been entangled overtime making it ache whenever I move it.
Initially, I was asked to drink meds for two weeks and if the pain didn’t disappear, then I might need to undergo therapy.
Also, On this day, Mikee Quintos and Anthony Rosaldo’s concert happened at the Music Museum.
