From it’s original walk-in price of Php 2000, I was able to book a deluxe room for only Php 750. That’s 65% off from the original price and I was able to do it instantly through this service called RedDoorz. I installed the app, created an account and was able to book the hotel room we needed instantly.

I’ve been really wanting to stay and explore Angeles City in Pampanga. Having Clark Freeport Zone on to its wing, Angeles is truly the city to look forward to in the future in terms of development and progress. Just a few years ago, we already learned the plans of the government on making this city more accessible and highly urbanized hence I am really looking forward on seeing Angeles City to be the next BGC located in the north. The Booking Process
With my eagerness to be on this city, I tag along a friend, Rod Magaru, and book a hotel room via the app RedDoorz. It was my first time trying the mobile app which you can also check via its website https://www.reddoorz.com.
The app is really straight forward and could be comparable to other hotel booking services, hence if you tried using other apps like Booking or Agoda, using Reddoorz would be easy-peasy. Reddoorz uses GPS to pin point your location and you can simply look for rooms near you or type in the city you desire to go to.
I type in Angeles City and more than 10 properties appeared on the list. And because Reddoorz is known to standardized the accommodation, only the location or description of the property will be seen on the app. Reddoorz doesn’t include the original property name.
I was supposedly going to book Reddoorz @ Koreantown but unfortunately, the room is so saleable that there are no available Reddoorz room already when I booked. As an alternative, I book Reddoorz @ Hensonville, because the rooms are spacious, the property got its pool and it’s a bit near on the Walking Street. You can simply find the photos included in the property to check if it suits your taste. One thing that I do, is to check the property via Google Maps to find out the name of the property and do another research about it to check if the property is okay. (Also Read: Royce Hotel)
I picked a date, booked the room and paid via credit card. You can also pay via the following method;

If you are a frequent hotel booker, joining the Red Club would be beneficial. Red Club members get an extra 12% discount on each of your booking for a span of three months for a membership fee of Php 500.
Walk-in vs. RedDoorz Booking
Reddoorz @ Hensonville was an hour and a half away from Manila (on a Sunday drive). We arrive at the property 10 minutes before our check-in time at 2pm. On our arrival, I discovered that I made a mistake in my room booking. I was supposed to book a 2 bedroom suite but I clicked a wrong room, which is single queen size bed only. Adding an extra bed in our room will cost Php 500, while booking a Double Twin would cost me another Php 2,700.

Prices may change on the day of your booking and as you can also see, the percentage discount is different per types of room. This goes to other properties as well, the room rates could be drastically lower or just a little lower from the original price. But the main goal here of course is to just avail the discount. After all you are going to still book the room so why not course it through a more affordable way.
RedDoorz Plus @ HensonVille Angeles City / Poleng Suites
Actually, we were a bit lost finding the property at first. Because we didn’t know the name of the property, we thought that the first Reddoorz we saw on the area was the property we were looking for. We then realize that there are a lot of RedDoorz property here in Angeles City and can be determine by the huge logo hanging on each of the property.
Luckily we found what we are looking for and it is called Poleng Suites.
RedDoorz Plus @ HensonVille Angeles City (Poleng Suites) is actually near from Clark International Airport, shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, bars and even a casino.
The spacious rooms are fully equipped with all the amenities guests may require for an outstanding stay.
The hotel also features added facilities for guests’ enjoyment including a pool and a spa onsite. And because we know that most ReddDorz room doesn’t have a free breakfast, we were happy to learn that this property also offer a room service menu where we can simply order breakfast through the staff assistance.

The RedDoorz Room
In total we had two rooms booked and are both located on the second floor. We picked this place so we can have a really nice top view of the pool.
The room is pretty decent and big and can actually accommodate a whole family consist of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). It got a kitchen area, a small dining table and a lounge area with a television set. The air-conditioning though can only be found inside the room, which is actually just fine. I believe that on a not-too-hot-days, the air-conditioning system can make the whole room cooler.
A huge square mirror can also be found hanging on the wall with decent table where I can work on free time. A phone can also be used if you would need assistance from the staff.
And just like other RedDoorz property, the room got the standard pillow, bedding and toiletries. The soap and shampoo inside the bathroom are also RedDoorz branded.

- Cabs are available at the Taxi Stand of the Clark International Airport. There are designated queues for regular and airport taxis. Travel time will be around 19 minutes or more depending on traffic and route taken.
- If you plan on driving a car from the airport to the hotel, you may take either of the two routes that will take you directly to RedDoorz Plus @ HensonVille Angeles City:
- Via Manuel Roxas Highway and onto Don Juico Avenue—approximately 18 minutes.
- Via Manuel Roxas Highway through 21st and onto Malabanias Road, turning right at Zeppelin St.—about 19 minutes.

Final Verdict
For a price of Php 750, I would not be even complaining if there would be flaws in the property or in the room. As they said, you only get what you paid for. So do not really expect much from the property. There are Reddoorz room we encountered before that only got a bed, towels, and toiletries in a huge room, which is practically what motorist or travelers would only require on some of their trips.
The room I got wasn’t really perfect on my standard, but for me paying it on that price the property already given more than what I needed. We also got a pool to enjoy as a bonus.
Would I recommend for you to download the app or use RedDoorz services? A big YES!
Using RedDoorz would be very helpful specially if you are on the thrifty side. My tip, if you are looking for a really nice property, do an extra research or ask friends who were able to book it already. Who knows you might even be able to get a jackpot!
