The players are very thankful that the PBA Legends exhibition matches for a cause was a success. According to PBA Legends Foundation Chariman, Fortunato “Atoy” Co, having this kind of activity is a very noble cause in raising money that could be used to help the former players for when they get sick and in need.
UNTV, led by its President / CEO Kuya Daniel Razon, gave the PBA Legends Foundation P 3-million donation to PBA Legends Foundation after the two hard-court matches. (Also Read: I became a basketball commentator for a day)
According to Kuya Daniel Razon, supporting the PBA Legends will not end here, there would be follow-up projects for the benefit of the former basketball players who would need help, medical assistance, and other things which they could do for the basketball players’ foundation.
