ASOP Music Festival Year 7 Grand Finals is set this November 11!




The stage is again set for this years A Song of Praise (ASOP) MUSIC FESTIVAL.

On its 7th year, ASOP Music Festival can now be coined as the longstanding praise song writing competition. This year’s grand finals will be stage this November 11, Sunday at 7pm in New Frontier Theater, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.

Twelve musical masterpieces from monthly winners starting November 2017, will vie for the “Song if the Year” grand title of the 2017 awardee of PMPC’s Star Awards forBest Talent Search Program.

At stake for the grand winner is Half Million Pesos cash prize (tax free) while non-winning entries will each receive Php 20,000 as consolation prize. Two special awards will also be picked and will both receive Php 50,000, the Best Interpreted award and People’s Choice Award.

The People’s Choice Award voting starts on Oct. 29, 9pm until November 11 at 12nn. To vote you can visit https://www.asoptv.com/poll once per day using your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

  • May | “Pagbabalik” | Composer: Joel Jabelosa | Interpreter: Marcelito Pomoy

Four of the twelve finalists are returnees in this year’s competition namely Rommel Gojo (2013), Oliver Narag (2015), Emmanuel Lipio Jr. (2017) and Joyner Dizon (2017).

ASOP Music Festival is conceptualized and created for television by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, Inc (BMPI) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kuya Daniel Razon, the ASOP Music Festival aims to encourage amateur and professional songwriters in praising our Almighty God through music.
