Over the years, I have own more than a handful of types of headphones. I could say that I may have tried a lot, only a few of them were kept which I basically base on portability, audio quality and comfort. Of course if one performs better than the other, why keep both? Recently, I have tried a new line of headphones that could probably be added on my collection. It may still have a few flaws, but its strength could truly overcome the rest.

It was my first time to encounter the brand Plantronics and I must say that at the looks of it over the net, I could already sense the products sturdiness and functionality.
A friend of mine also told me that the brand has been know for providing different business solutions for the office setup. Now, Plantronics have an expanded line of personal audio for music and entertainment, sports, mobile communications as well as RIG gaming. If you have been enjoying one at work, taking home a unit would be perfect.
I recently got the Backbeat Fit 500, which is wireless on-ear sport headphones and this is my personal review of the unit;
Sweat it out with BackBeat Fit 500
Backbeat Fit 500 series is a wireless sports headphones suited for people who got a very active lifestyle. Aside that it is physically stylish, the headphone is build sturdy that it seems could withstand time and be with you for a lifetime.
Headphones that doesn’t look and feel heavy is always a good point to consider specially if you are planning to use it for a long period of time. Also BackBeat Fit 500 is wireless making it hassle free to move around while listening to your favorite groove.
What I love About Backbeat Fit 500

What I do not like about BackBeat Fit 500
- Unpleasant Feeling Overtime – One thing that I encounter while using the product is a slight aching of my ears specially if it’s worn after a few hours. It may be because of the tightness of the headphone against my head or the size of the ear cushion, nevertheless, the feeling is tolerable. A quick rest in between an hour used would be advisable.
- Soft Case – The unit comes with a sports mesh pouch which I felt I am not sure if Plantronics is selling a hard case separately but if they do had one, covering
Also, the size of the headphone is actually small already to the headphone line but this size could still be bulky for other people, nevertheless BackBeat Fit 500 didn’t disappoint overall.

If you are into headphones and is looking for a small frame yet still sturdy unit, Backbeat Fit 500 should be part of your choice list. Lastly, for a priced of Php 5,295, gives more than for it’s priced range.
