I admit it, I am not a Super Junior Fan, that is why a week before the concert I found myself googling about them. I may have known (or heard) one of their hit songs but still it is in Korean. Nevertheless, my inner Koreanovela addict were triggered after seeing the famous boy-band performed.
Keep on reading, will tell you more about my SUPER SHOW 7 experience.
Super Junior or SUJU‘s comeback is one of the most anticipated event by Filipino E.L.Fs (Everlasting Friends), a term they use to call their fans world wide. Thousands of fans gathered at the SM MOA Arena last January 30, 2018 just to see them all again after their last successful concert 5 years ago.
Super Show 7 commence at Seoul, Korea last December 15-17, 2017 and after touring more than 10 cities including 4 Latin American Country the boy band set foot back here in the Philippines.
After doing the concert here in Manila, Super Junior still have tons of places to visit like Jakarta, Paris, London, Berlin, Melbourne, Sydney, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Mi, Shanghai, Osaka, Sao Paolo, New York & Los Angeles just to name a few.
So moving on, I was able to get a VIP pass for the concert. And even I was all alone battling the horrible Manila traffic on a Saturday night, I still went and watch the concert. I came at the venue just right in time. Feeling a bit stress and already tired, I decided to grab a bite and went straight to my assigned seat. After a few minutes of watching the boy band, I realized and felt that it was a good decision that I was able to see it.
I did not really expected that Super Show 7 would be that awesome (even I do not really understand most of what they are singing) that until now, I am still on an aftermath doing research and watching videos of Super Junior.
One thing that also realize is that even if I was presently there at the concert, it is still too hard to keep an eye to 7 guys performing and literally all over the place. Chances are you’ve might missed a thing or two specially either you are out for a CR break, you blink and forgot to open your eyes for a moment or your just too focus watching your favorite Super Junior member.
Well you can just probably browse Youtube for a moment to check out what you’ve missed or you can also continue reading to check out the 7 Facts & Unforgettable Moments I’ve seen with Super Junior at Super Show 7 in Manila, Philippines.
Here we go.
7 Facts & Unforgettable Moments at Super Show 7 Philippines
- Super Show 7 is the 4th World Concert tour and 7th International Tour by South Korean boy band Super Junior. It marks the return of members Si-won, Eun Hyuk and Dong Hae, who had been away serving two years of mandatory military service.
- The seven active members, Lee Teuk, Hee Chul, Ye Sung, Shin Dong, Eun Hyuk, Si-won and Dong Hae, performed a total of 31 songs at the concert including their latest hit “Lo Siento”
- The whole concert was divided in to seven parts with connecting stories about a girl who’ve been invited to attend a ball to meet the Great Super Junior
- SUJU made an effort to speak Tagalog not just words but long (like really long) sentences.
- Hee Chul was being Hee Chul doing his crazy dancing. He was such a fan of Pacquiao, he enjoyed shouting his name over and over again in the concert. Si-won was being playful joking around other members while performing.
- Out of nowhere, SUJU fans called E.L.F.s (ever lasting friends) sung a birthday song for Lee Teuk who celebrated his 35th on July 1, and for Hee Chul on July 10.
- Boy band leader Lee Teuk read a heartfelt open letter for all their Filipino fans.
We are all delighted for SUJU’s comeback. Were you? Comment on the box below and tell me whats your favorite act in the concert.
