A polished and a clean home isn’t really too easy to maintain, and the process could be a bit unglamorous as one could say.

My current place in Quezon City isn’t as big as our house in Valenzuela, but the small space I got serves its purpose – a place for me to sleep. And because I spent most of my time in a day outside the house, my room could sometimes becomes a huge dumpsite. Eventually realizing that I am not that only one already living in the place I called home.

Continue reading and learn how you could be able to get rid of this unwanted boarders in your house.

Pests are something that you do not want to be having as boarders in your home. It could incur damages to your house or could even bring diseases to humans. That is why prevention is really needed. These pests could sometimes paid a visit specially when you are out of the house or while you are on a long travel that you overlook what you leave behind. If we’re not careful, we might come home to unwanted boarders.

To prevent pests from moving in while you’re away, here are some tips you could follow;

  1. Make sure to clean up before heading out.
  2. Food bits – no matter how small – will attract all sorts of guests, the type that you never invite. So better pick it up right after eating.
  3. If you don’t want ants, cockroaches, rats, and mice to be partying in your kitchen or dining room, be sure to wash all dishes. Don’t leave anything dirty in your sink.
  4. Put leftover food in sealed containers or store inside the refrigerator.
  5. Dispose of all garbage and wash the trash cans.
  6. If you have containers with water, cover them or just eliminate entirely. Standing water can be breeding ground for insects. Let’s not give their population a chance to grow.

But when all else fails, here’s another solution you could do — Pest Off! Known for its superior quality products with value-for-money proposition, it is the only brand in supermarkets, groceries, and hardware outlets nationwide that caters to both insect and rodent categories of pest control.

For cockroaches, I used Pest Off! Complete Insect Killer Odorless. It is specially formulated to eliminate crawling and flying insects not just cockroaches but also mosquitoes, houseflies, fleas, and the like. Best of all, you don’t have to endure the unpleasant kerosene odor while it does its job.

For rats and mice, Pest Off! Glue Boards can do the job.  It is very convenient to use  and the installation is quick and easy. All you have to do is to place them along travel routes of rats and mice. Unlike traditional rat trap mechanisms, there is no need to place bait and set-up a contraption. And disposal of trapped rat is easy. Hassle-free in every way! Needless to say, they’re very effective. The glue boards trap the rats because of the strong adhesive on the board. Their paws and eventually their bodies, stick to the the board. But you’re guaranteed that the boards are safe for humans. The adhesive applied on the board is non-toxic. In case the adhesive comes in contact with your skin, you simply have to wipe it away with mineral or baby oil.

SRP of Pest Off! Glue Boards are as follows: Mice Catcher Cheese Scent – P99.00-101.00, Rat Catcher Cardboard – P148-150.00, Rat Catcher Plastic Board Cheese/Peanut Scent – P163.00-165.00
