There is a long history to tell about the clashing of famous brands. Brand X and Y (and also Z) always have this notion of being better than the other. From detergent, to clothes, to malls, or even fast food chain. One always see to it that they are releasing something new to prevail over the other. When it comes to soda brand, I guess you already know what I am talking about. Though taste could be subjective, what I truly enjoy about these internationally known brands are the collectibles both are releasing. Just like what Pepsi and BUM have made recently. #BUMXPepsi is a collaborative, limited edition collection between the one of the most iconic global consumer brand—PEPSI and one of the country’s hottest streetwear retail brand—BUM. It promises to be a beautiful collision of adventurous creations that would surely suit the discriminating taste of today’s generation.
Indeed, the partnership will reflect BUM’s core silhouettes and trendy looks with Pepsi youthful appeal. The limited-edition line is all about self-expression and the ‘Live for Now’ moments.

I was able to witness the launch of this collaboration at the event recently held in TriNoma Activity Center. Displays of the new collections are made available for purchase for the first time. Giving fans and new clients a better way of seeing the collection, a fashion show was held as well.
#BUMXPepsi Limited Collection is based on the iconic color palette and logos of both brands—BUM and Pepsi; fused design elements and street style that can draw that youthful appeal. The line consists of t-shirts, jogger pants and shorts and outerwear, as well as caps and bags.
Seeing the full collection, I was able to already pick my favorites. The shirts is a must to be included in your haul, as well as the cute should bags and shorts. The jogger pants are also something to add on your sporty look but it does not really compliment my style and body figure (for I have chicken legs), so will skip that in the list. The collaborative capsule collection can now be purchase on BUM Boutiques and select department stores nationwide.
