I think I am one those people who always mistakenly misspelled and mispronounce Luljettas (pronounced as Lal-dye-tas) to Luljuettas (Lol-who-e-tas). Funny that I’ve been using the wrong word for years and it only cleared to me when I visited the place personally a few weeks ago. On my visit at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa, I have learned that the place has expanded. There were new areas that were built and finally, Luljettas is offering an overnight stay!
My very first Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites experience and the other things you need to know about the place is what you could expect in this blog post.
Keep on reading do not keep me hanging *wink*.
Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa
Honestly speaking, this picture could easily entice one to hurriedly set a date and visit the place.
Tucked within the ridges of Antipolo, Rizal is a secret garden called Luljetta’s Place. It was established in 2013 by the matriarch of Loreland Reality & Development Corporation and is part of the eight (8) hectare resort in Antipolo – Loreland Farm Resort. An hour drive away from Manila, Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites could be your perfect escape from hustle and bustle of the city.
Here is how to commute to Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa / Loreland Farm Resort
With a vision to cater to a broader range of market banking on the health and wellness, Luljettas have easily gain its popularity and became one of the most up-to-date tourist spot in Antipolo. Add to that is the well known picturesque view of the mountain, which was carefully planned landscape and design that put the company once again in the map of the most visited and most recognized resort in the district. Who would not want to just chill and relax with this view? Right?
On my visit I was able to do an overnight stay at their newly built Luljettas Garden Suites, which will discuss later. I was also had the chance to try one of their packages called Rejuvenate that costs Php 2,890. This is the most expensive day-tour package they have which consists of the following;
Day Tour Packages at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa – Rejuvenate (Php 2,890)
- Day Tour Access to Hanging Gardens Facilities (Locker, Sauna, Heated Jacuzzi, Hydro-Massage Pool, Infinity Pools, Meditation Lounges)
- Traditional bathrobe and towel
- Snacks of Antipolo’s Best Suman
- Set Meal (Soup, Salad, Pasta, Dessert)
- Luljetta’s Signature Massage
- Choc’late Scrub
The other Day Tour Packages they have includes Hanging Garden Retreat, Hanging Gardens Getaway, Comfort and Nurture. Here are the complete lists of services they offer.
Luljettas Hanging Garden and Spa is the first and only hanging gardens and spa in the Philippines. It got this amazing viewpoint of Laguna De Bay and Metro Manila Skyline that is accessible while dining or swimming in any of the three infinity pools.
Actually, just staying in one of the lounge’s here and just doing nothing will already give you that relaxing moment. If you’ve been to Bali, Indonesia, you would probably compare the ambiance or mood of the place. Bring a waterproof camera as well for it would be too hard not to take a photo around this very instagramable place. But dipping, chilling and doing photo shoots weren’t really the main reason one would visit this place, it’s really their famous massage.
Constraint with time, we decided to skip the Choc’late Scrub and did an hour soaking at the pool. Right after, we went at the locker room to avail our scheduled massage. We were given a basket with a locker key, towels and batik clothes on it. After changing, we were accompanied by a female masseur and went straight to one of the Filipino inspired massage cabins.
The full body massages lasts for less than an hour. Just like the usual, I was asked about my preferred hand pressure; soft, medium and hard. I picked hard. After the massage, do not forget to give a tip to your masseur. Usually, masseurs will wait for you outside and will give you a small enveloped for your tip.
Snacks like the famous Antipolo’s Suman can be availed at the Luljetta’s Café located at the upper most part of the hanging garden. You can also avail other food in this place.
Day tour guests are usually given 5 hours to enjoy the whole vicinity (Though, they are not really strict with this rule so just enjoy the place) Here are the other things you can do at the Luljettas Hanging Garden and Spa;
Luljettas Garden Suite
After hearing comments from their customers, finally, Luljettas Place now opens its very own Luljettas Garden Suite. Now an overnight stay could be an option you could choose to fully give you an energizing day.
On our visit, we were able to try the Governor’s Suite, which is a 43 sqm. loft-type room that can accommodate 4 person. It got 2 queen size beds, 1 single bed and 1 pull out bed. Ruth got the master bedroom at the ground floor while Rod and I shared room at the second. Each room got the usual amenities that also include complimentary water and coffee, hot and cold shower and cable TV. The room got this earthy vibe that compliments with the whole place, thou I felt that the room was a bit dim lighted and felt a bit tight, probably because of the bulky furniture’s. Nevertheless, I fully enjoyed both being inside and outside.
Room Rates also includes the following:
- Buffet breakfast
- Access to Luljetta’s Place Garden Suites
- Access to Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa with snacks (5 hours Retreat)
- Access to Loreland Farm Resort
Hotel guests can also enjoy the café, lap pool, spa and fish spa for your total relaxation and enjoyment. Walk-ins are most welcome (Specially at the Café) but of course, Luljettas are recommending for you to always book in advance.
Check In: 2PM // Check Out: 12NN
Luljettas Place Garden Suites also offers Pre-nup and Photoshoot packages. Group activities and other events can also be held here. They got large open spaces that are perfect for garden weddings or acoustic nights, or huge halls that is suited for conferences and/or bigger events.
Looking for a place to propose to the love of your life, Luljettas Place Garden Suites could also help you set it up with their Romantic Dinner package.
There are actually still a lot of things to experience at this place, giving me reasons to again come back. Probably next time, I could be able to fully enjoy the scrub and the spa as well as the other dishes they offer at the Luljettas Café. After all, the place is just an hour away from Manila. Take a dip, have a massage, or just do nothing and enjoy the sight at Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites.
