Ketogenic Diet or Keto interests me even before it becomes a thing. A few of my friends have done it for months and the change in their body weight is really apparent. Like you wouldn’t need a weighing scale just to notice it. It caught my attention instantly. I guess it was truly effective.

Being a curious-cat, I decided to ask friends and research about it. I found out that Ketogenic Diet or Keto for short, is a high-fat, adequate-protein, and low-carbohydrate diet. This is a more meat and vegetables kind of diet. Doing Keto diet concept is simple, it forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates by causing the blood sugar levels to drop thus the body begins breaking down fat to use as energy.

I can go on and on with more informations i’ve learned along the way but I guess for starters who doesn’t have much idea above the whole thing, this could be an overload of information to take in. Also, if followed wrongly it could even complicate things.

I realized,  If I would be pursuing this kind of diet I would need to identify each of the food under it. That will require me time to master as well as to learn ways on how to prepare it. But time isn’t a luxury on my side yet still I do want to try Keto.
