I am always been a backpack kind of guy. Like whenever I’m in a shop getting a new bag, although some other designs are really good, I would always end up buying a backpack. Maybe because using it gives me more comfort and the freedom to still use both of my hands whenever I am out. I think the last time I did shopping was at the newly opened Anello store.
Just a few days ago, a famous Japanese bag brand was welcomed here in Manila. Rootote Bag opens its first branch at SM North the Block. Ins’t amazing that famous brands are really coming here in the country. At least we wouldn’t need to do shipping or visit abroad just to purchase this awesome items.
Just to give you a short overview (specially to those who still didn’t know this brand existed), ROOTOTE is a brand specialising in tote bags. It was originally established as a design firm in 1978 by a Japanese company Super Planning who has become famous for its unique version of the tote bag. They offer customers vast choices with its signature “ROOTOTE” bags having various shapes and sizes. Each sturdy ROOTOTE has a handy and spacious zipped “ROO Pocket” (it takes name from a kangaroo’s pouch) on one side for keeping wallets and keys secure. The brand comes in different designs and shapes, no wonder why it become a hit in Japan and other parts of the world.
And just I said awhile ago, it opened its very first store in Manila where I was able to purchase my very first ROOTOTE bag. ROOTOTE Bags in SM North the Block offers bags for both male and female market. Bags for guys are a bit bigger compare to the gals. I was having a hard time picking which designs and colors to get actually. I really love the Tote bag convertible to back pack and the pouch bag as well. But thinking about its usability and my kind of living I ended up getting the awesome Camou back pack. I was told by the staff that it was one of the most bought items that what we got was already the last piece for the day.
The bags are really sturdy and got this thick lining that you would really feel the bag will last like forever. The camou bag I picked was spaciously just right for a 13inches laptop to fit in, books, perfume, a handy camera, a few other small stuff and even an extra shirt.
At the launch, customers was able to customised their own Tote bags by adding up some affordable cute key chains or by adding up hand-painted designs they are offering for free. But that isn’t just the surprise for everyone . . .
Here is something very irresistible, ROOTOTE is giving all customers Php 500 off on all items you will purchase extended up to the 31st of October! That is so awesome!
Price range of the bags is from Php 2000+ to Php 3295.
