I never had a huge celebration in my life. I think the only thing I remember was when I celebrated my 2nd birthday (?), which I confusingly thought as a memory rooted from a picture rather than a real memory. But luckily, I was able to attend some as I grow up even though it wasn’t a celebration I can call mine, It is still kind of amazing knowing that parties are all for fun.
But behind each fun, organising one could always be a pain in the ass may it be huge or small. I have my own stories of different events I handled before and I could say it is no joke setting up one. And if you are already having that trouble handling everything, the best way to pull it through is by hiring someone to do it. Luckily, organizers are now available to handle your events and caterers are there to provide the food and setup.
It may be thrifty to do it on your own but why bother if you got enough budget to hire someone, after all you need to be rested for you to truly enjoy the party.
A few days ago, I was able to try one of the popular catering services here in Manila, have you heard about Hizons Catering?
Hizon’s Catering took the time to put up 4 different setup in one location showing what and how well they can do and handle your catering needs. A different party occupied each of the four corners of Oasis Manila’s Pavilion. There was a wedding, all formal and elegant, with a heavy buffet of soup, salad, main course, and a carving station.
Then there was a children’s party with a circus concept. We had fun partaking the fare which was a more sophisticated version of the kiddie meals we grew up with.
The glamorous corner was meant to be an awards night. We walked the red carpet, smiled for the paparazzis, and enjoyed the hor d’oeuvres being passed around before heading to the dessert bar.
Quite stark was the section assigned to the corporate seminar. It was supposed to be a morning affair so the set up had an omelette cooking station with a gamut of fillings to choose from.
All the dishes were whipped up by the kitchen team headed by chef Simon Dayrit, event styling was by Drew Menor. The event planning group is led by Cheska Pineda.
Here are some of the concepts that Hizons Catering can setup that I personally love;
We actually enjoyed all the event stations, I specially the Kiddie party! I can say it is really more convenient to be a guest than the party organizer. If you feel the same way but would still like to play host, just call Hizon’s Catering and they will take care of making your dream event happen.
Hizon’s Catering can accommodate anywhere between 50 and 15,000 guests. While based in Metro Manila, they’ve gone as far as Subic, Batangas, and Rizal. For more information, visit www.hizonscatering.com. You may also email info@hizonscatering.com or call (02) 9250103 / (02) 9250107.
Until our next discovery in the City!
