Started as a simple gift for HOPE’s President Nanette’s friends. The not so ordinary shirts –  which were unbelievably soft custom printed shirts made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, becomes a hit among her friends, who in turn told their friends about it.

Knowing about Solenn’s artistic talent, Nanette approached her with the idea of creating designs for an exclusive Hope in a Shirt collection. Solenn loved the idea and didn’t hesitated to accept the collaboration specially that this project can support a sustainable lifestyle and help in building the future of Filipino kids.

With help from Globis, Inc., Solenn’s brush and pencil strokes were transformed into high quality textile prints. The art she refers to as #SolennArt.

A first in Philippine fashion, each of the shirts on this line is made from 11 recycled plastic bottles. Solenn, in her first foray into fashion, has artfully designed each shirt with the advocacy in mind. Yet another first, they launched this collection in a special HOPE-branded vending machine— an idea inspired from New York fashion week. The result is a disruptive and desirable product that celebrates art, innovative sustainability, and a worthwhile cause.

The shirt was release in in extremely limited quantities, just 200 pieces and will be available in the HOPE vendo that will pop up in 3 surprise locations, for only 2 to 3 days each. For schedule you can check it out on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Those who wouldn’t be able to shop at the vendo caravan, you can rest easy knowing that the shirts will soon after be available exclusively through Zalora.

Each shirt costs Php 2,000 each. Help and be the hope to all the those kids. Empower consumers to positively impact thousands of Filipinos, get one HOPE-branded product at a time.
