The 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards is all-set for January 16 at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
I really missed doing the radio. Its been a year since the last time I was heard on air and I didn’t really expected to be gone to early. But I guess it was just the right moment to let go and focus on some things that I am needed the most. Nonetheless, I still misses the late night shows and the conversations with the wishers. On how I usually cram on the few minutes before the daily start the show and on how I was able to think topics to discuss every night. It was all good memories and it teach me a lot. Thou I wasn’t able to create a blog post or anything about my year gig experience with Wish 107.5 as DJ Flynn Rider for my identity as a radio jock (before) was being hidden for some reasons.
I guess if given another chance I would definitely wish (love) to guess again on some spots sometime.
I watched how the station grow. From a not known radio station that plays hits from different generations, up to now, where Wish 107.5 is being considered as the Philippines fastest growing Youtube channel!
I also got a chance to witness the first ever Wish 107.5 Music awards and was able to participate as one of the presenters of the said event.
A year has passed and the radio station that highlights the new way in which Filipinos can love and appreciate music – the country’s first-ever FM-on-wheels, the Wish 107.5 Bus, soars high as it launches the 2nd Wish 107.5 Music awards.
All-set for January 16 at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum, The 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards will announce not only this year’s big winners but also a string of stellar performances featuring the country’s brightest OPM stars.

What to expect at the 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards
- Morissette, KZ Tandingan, Zia Quizon, Charice, Sassa Dagdag, Kris Lawrence, Michael Pangilinan, Jason Dy, and Marcelito Pomoy are just some of the artists who will grace the awards night.
- The newly-formed Boyband PH will also perform at the stage.
- Tawag ng Tanghalan grand finalists Eumee Capile, Gidget Dela Llana, Pauline Agupitan, Maricel Callo, Marielle Montellano and Noven Belleza will complete the roster of A-list performers.
- A total of 75 music acts are vying under 13 categories.
- Special recognitions will also be handed out including the Wish Reactors’ Choice Award and the WISHclusive Viral Video of the Year.
- WISHclusive Elite Circle will be launch and will be a prestigious group that is composed of artists with Wish 107.5 YouTube videos of at least 10 million views. This will be the highest award to be given for WMA’s sophomore year.
- Online voting will comprise 50% of a nominee’s total score, while the other 50% will come from the votes of a select panel of judges. Polling period is until 12 noon of January 16. Supporters can cast their votes via www.wish1075.com/wishawards.
