After a few times of bugging me I finally decided to entertain Kuya Tonipets offer to guest in his long time TV show Pop Talk. It’s not that I’m playing hard to get but it’s just that it was always a bad timing whenever I get to be invited. Hey, I’ve been a fan of Kuya Tonipet since the early times watching him in Arc Angel and some other Kiddie shows and It’s always an honor to be invited. So when the time came that I was free, why hesitate? Right?! And if ever I get to be asked again I would definitely say yes, most specially if I’m available.
Inside one of the bathroom of the presidential suite in Solaire
The call time was 6 in the morning. And Anj, the coordinator who contacted me a night before welcomed me and brought me to the lobby passing through the garden where Unang Hirit was still having the live program. I was introduce to Jak Roberto (Who I still don’t know since that day, so I Googled him! Sorry Jak hahaha) who arrived first at the venue. Jak Roberto is a GMA artist who’s a regular in Hanggang Makita Kang Muli, Dear Uge and currently (after the Pop Talk shooting) decided to join in at Unang Hirit, that’s a big break bro! Congrats!

Honestly, I felt a bit awkward because he was too silent at the moment. But I think, we both felt the same.
Jak trying out one of the beds.
Outside, Cheena Abellon of Travelbook.ph was working in the corner finishing deadlines early in the morning.
Cheena as usual doing her work while working on cam.
Me, Jak and Cheena are going to be Kuya Tonipets Pop Talk reviewer for today.
Inside the van, the producer and make up artist joined us in; I got a chance to get to know Cheena as well. I think we easily jive in having almost the same liking and views.
POP Talk reviews Hotel Novotel in Cubao
I was a bit shy a first making me take less photo on our first location. Look at our bathroom in Novotel!
First Impression: I didn’t know there’s a fancy looking Hotel this great in the heart of Quezon City! Every corner got an interesting place to see, a haven for instagram-loving people. Very millennial too!
We did a room tour, visited the Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach room, had a chance to have breakfast at the Premier Lounge, we get to see the special room for the kids, did a quick dip at the pool, and had a buffet lunch that felt like touring around the world.
POP Talk Review: I gave it a perfect score 9!
Pop Talk reviews Solaire Casino & Resort
First Impression: I’ve visited Solaire for so many times already but haven’t really seen everything. With the opening of the new tower, there are definitely new scenes we can discover. Solaire is just enormous that we even suggested for them to have a cart for service or maybe a walkalator in some areas. We check out their spa, gym, and even tried to gun shooting at Sky Range. We also stayed at the presidential suites that are so enormous it can house 4-5 families in it. Thou targeting the upper class section, Solaire is just quite fancy to begin with. You’ll be shock to know how much a night cost at the presidential suite.
POP Talk Review: I gave it a 7!
Pop Talk reviews Rembrandt Hotel
First Impression: Hotel Rembrandt isn’t new to me, it’s one of the many hotels I’ve visited more than once and being a popular place for Weddings and event, I believe Rembrandt already got a market of it’s own. Popular to a lot of art enthusiast, Rembrandt also do offer affordability and comfort. Aside from that being close to a lot of establishments and destination could be a good factor as well.
Also you can read my review when I came back to Rembrandt Hotel to try the foods at the Penthouse.
POP Talk Review: I gave it a 7!
Here are some of the photos taken in our one day fun adventure:
The POP talk episode was aired last July 2, 2016, Saturday. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to watch it. Thank you very much Pop Talk for the invites, also to Anj for tapping me to the producer, to all the cameramen and staff. Also to Kuya Tonipet, Jak and Cheena. Hope to see you again soon guys!
