Spring/Summer 2016 Collection Highlights
XX Kers
Stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System, KERS is the cutting-edge technology developed by Ferrari to recover energy wasted in braking. XX Kers is crafted in stainless steel with a bright/brushed or black ion-plated finish, the round 50mm XX Kers case, styled with extended sport lugs and crown protector, is truly commanding in size. Its fixed coin-edge bezel, in red or black anodized aluminum, sports bold, contrasting markers and Arabic numerals in the font found on the nose of a fabled Ferrari single sitter. Protected by flat mineral crystals, the black carbon fiber-textured dials are detailed by highly legible contrast-colored numerals/markers and bold skeleton hands. The air intake-inspired silicone straps in black or red are debossed with the name Scuderia Ferrari.
Red Rev
RedRev captures the thrill of race day with a bold honeycomb texture inspired by the layered structure of a race car’s monocoque. For the Spring/Summer 2016, new 3-hand RedRev designs retain this striking signature honeycomb texture on their matte finish black or white dials, and continue to keep pace with the trend toward bolder, high-performance watches with a more colorful, flowing ergonomic shape from case to strap. The grooves on the integrated black or red silicone strap are inspired by the air intakes on a race car. One black strap sports a bold yellow Racing Shield and Scuderia Ferrari logo. On the others, a glossy/matte chequered flag pattern accent adds strong yet subtle automotive character.
I was drooling over to these watches and I can’t help to stare at these gold-colored watches. RedRev starts at Php 6,550 while XX Kers is at Php 9,750.
