Fine sands, crystal clear water and a memorable ambiance is how I picture out Anilao, Batangas, unfortunately the area we visited doesn’t seem to show how I picture it in my head. Here we go again with expectations vs. reality thing or maybe my research about the place wasn’t just enough or I’m in the wrong area?
This happened a few months ago when me and my friends decided to do a roadtrip to Anilao, Batangas. It was one of those long weekends so expectingly a bulk of people would head towards the beach. And because our roadtrip was half-unplanned, our second day becomes anything goes. I heard about Sombrero Island and on how nice the place is, also about diving adventures in Anilao, Batangas, and many more. But we ended up, renting a cottage at Aguila Resort, cooking some food and just hanging around the beach.
It was crowded on that moment, and as expected the shoreline and the water wasn’t too nice at all. But the view is pretty amazing. Add to that the friends that will make unfortunate situations fun! Here are some of the snaps I got on the trip:
