The hot weather calls for a refreshing break! And having a nice water dip coupled with fun slides would be perfect! Thus last April 16 and 17, 2016, over 9,000 people flocked to Filinvest City, Alabang (including me and my friends), for a weekend of worry-free fun under the sun. Thousands came to slip, slide and experience NIVEA Slidefest.
Adrian Benipayo, one of the organizer of Slidefest, have been telling us about Slidefest even before it started and luckily I was able to try it recently. Even if it’s scorching hot, we still manage to drive all the way to Alabang to try it.
I was ready to try the slides when I remember that I forgot to bring in my sunscreen. Good thing, Nivea provided a Protect and Moisture Moisturising Sunscreen Lotion SPF50+ given to all the participants. Nivea sunscreen combines strong UVA and UVB filters that can shield the skin from sun damage with rich moisturisers and vitamin E that can protect the skin from dehydration and sun damage.

And rightly so, NIVEA Slidefest boasts of big, bouncy inflatables that look like a giant obstacle course.
My first trial was okay; the second was a disaster! I was stuck in the slides for a few times and the worst I almost suffocate myself when my inflatable stop at the foam area. Good thing another slider bumps me out of that place. Here’s the video of my first slide.
The day’s energy remained high until sundown when Manila’s hottest DJs took the stage. The evening crowd partied to the music of Jessica Milner, Migs Santilian and Marlo Baval; and enjoyed breathtaking performances from the Emerald Fire Dancers and Asia’s Got Talent’s – The Intensity Breakers.
