There are only three situations you’ll ever see me wearing a coat; First, is when I’m invited in a formal gathering, second, is when I’m hosting a formal event, and third, is when I just want to look and feel fashionable. Having said that, getting a nice set of formal wear is an essential item in your wardrobe. My original plan was to own three set, I feel that was enough, not until I saw Aloysius A.Men Collection.
A few weeks ago, Philippine designer Joseph Aloysius Montelibano presented his latest menswear collection entitled “A.Men” which marks the formal introduction of the ALOYSIUS brand slated to open mid-2017.

His designs were edgy with a classic silhouette mixed. And what I love about the collection is its versatility, wear it in formal events or casually bring it and stand out with just having a white shirt underneath.
The highlight of the show was the Diamond Tuxedo worn by top actor/triathlete Matteo Guidicelli. The bespoke tuxedo is adorned with 9 diamond buttons on the sleeves and enclosure, and is tailored with the finest Italian wool cashmere shell and silk lining. And guess what, this tuxedo is worth over a million pesos!
Joseph Aloysius has been known for his contributions includes Britney Spears’ renowned diamond jumpsuit, Sex and the City’s Carrie’s wedding veil, and Gossip Girl’s classic headband. I can’t wait to see the Aloysius brand next year.
