The Killer Log Press – The Foundry Fitness & Athletics

Its the second week of my training, I was supposed to attend Friday last week but unfortunately because of my busy schedule and priorities I wasn’t able to, so I decided to go at Foundry, Monday instead. Last time was a blast with exercises focusing mostly on squats. Check out this link: My Fitness Journey at The Foundry Fitness & Athletics

I almost died (not really) doing dead lifts errrr!!!! Thanks coaches Reg and Rich! I’m still alive! Lol! @thefoundryfitnessph #foundryfitness #thefoundryph

My muscle had just recovered from the muscle tearing last week, but I feel that I’m ready now to get the next blow. I came a little late today, Coach Rich was just about to start the MMA class, so for this day, on her debut coaching, Regine, or rather Coach Regine will take his place. Today’s routine includes four sets of 40 lbs of Log Press in 10 reps, four sets of 20 kg of one Arm Deadlift and four sets of Half Net-Up. So easy to say, but so hard to do!

Awesome! When your beating your personal record each time you hit the gym! @thefoundryfitnessph #foundryfitness #gym #fitness #workout   A video posted by Rodel Flordeliz (@rodelflordeliz) on

The Log Press was a total killer, it was executed just like your doing dead lifts which I dont really do mostly when I’m in the gym. After two sets, i’ve already felt dizzy doing it but thank God I did not fade out.

We finished after an hour. Went home and started to work. After a day, I felt that my upper and lower back and thighs are aching. I also got bruises in both arms from the log press. I think it will take time for me to go back again at the gym. Can’t wait to see my body improvements in a few months from now.
