I’m always been fond of eating tuna. When i was still living in Kamuning area, there is this karinderia that serves and cook a simple tunasilog. I know how to do it, but there’s something in their cooking that makes the canned tuna even more flavor-fully.
Its easy to experiment dishes using tuna, so i always make sure that I got stocks at home specially if we don’t have something to eat. So whenever I go at the supermarket I make sure that cans of tuna are inside my cart.
I just recently discovered about mega tuna , it comes in 4 flavors Mega Tuna Flakes in oil, Mega Tuna Flakes Hot and Spicy, Mega Tuna Flakes Sweet and Spicy and mega Tuna Flakes Spanish Style. I bought one for only 33.10 Pesos. I personally love the hot and spicy variant. And yes to spanish style tuna! I super love the Mega sardines Spanish-style so definitely this would taste equally amazing. Here’s a shot of my salad using Mega Tuna Flakes Sweet and Spicy.
What’s good about this tuna is that it got no extenders, no preservatives and no msg, just pure tuna. Plus, each can is so full I can share a can to a friend.
