If you felt like strolling, but don’t like to wear slippers yet you want something light and breathable wear – you go Espadrilles. Worn in the Pyrenees and along the Mediterranean for centuries, Espadrilles (from the Spanish word ‘Esparto’ for grass) have been a choice for people who likes soles that breathe. And in the recent times, the traditional espadrille has been updated to be used for the city, the beach and everywhere in between.
Soludos was first introduced to the Philippine Market by The Anthem Group, one of the Philippines’ fastest growing retailers, via footwear store Shoe Salon in December 2014. 
I got a chance to visit one of their pop-up store at Greenbelt 3 recently. I had a hard time deciding which one to choose from, for Soludos’ got lots of fun and exciting designs to choose from, specifically those with non-traditional materials for espadrilles (e.g. lace, leather, suede), exciting prints (e.g. tropical, animal), and embellishments (e.g. quirky embroideries).
I was torn between this two,but at the end picked the one at the right for the reason that the pair would be flexible and can be used in different occasions.

The pair i’d picked should be given a stroll so I decided to used it when I was invited over at The Palace Pool Club last September 27, 2015. Soludos partnered with The Palace Pool Club for a special Sunday Social to showcase the brand and give out special discounts to lucky partygoers who participate in their Spin The Wheel contest.
I wasn’t able to try it but I bet the gamers truly enjoyed the winnings, especially those who won a pair of Soludos. Now they can sport th brand and be spotted just like some Hollywood celebrities wearing Soludos, like: Glee’s Dianna Agron, Actress Kate Bosworth, Alison Williams from HBO’s Girls, Actor Josh Hartnett, Golden Globe nominee Emily Blunt, Golden Globe Winner Amy Adams, Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, and Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, among others.
