Nips Pop Fest 2015

It’s a fun filled colorful celebration as the colorful candy-coated chocolate brand, Jack ‘n Jill Nips, celebrated the youth’s creativity and talent with its Nips Pop Fest 2015. Held a few days ago at the cinema lobby of Trinoma mall, the grand culminating activity featured games, booths and performances by Itchyworms.

I was an hour earlier from the rest for I’m living just across the mall. The event was attended mostly by youngsters, thus I felt a bit younger as well. During the color festivity, Nips awarded special prizes to the winners of the HaNIPS music video-making contest. Here are some of the things that happened at the event.

The music video-making contest is Nips’ way to add a twist to its well-known jingle. The “PinkaHaNIPS” the video was awarded to the 24-year-old Kharleigh Macapagal where she won a grand prize of Php 100,000.00.

Macapagal’s entry entitled “Rainbow Connection” also won Php 50,000 for bagging the HaNIPS with Nips (best use of Nips products) and HaNIPS sa video (best in video execution) special awards.

Nips also tapped the talented students of SoFA Design Institute. At the event, a catwalk was hosted by the institute to showcase entries for the Nips T-shirt Design Contest. The winning design was awarded Php 100.000.

Here’s one of the shirt design from SoFA Design Institute students:

There are just a lot of things happening at the event and one the things that attract me the most was the Slow Mo booth which enables guests to take wacky slow motion videos of themselves with matching props and confetti. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try it, nevertheless I got a chance to take home a bag full of Nips!
