Raffles Design Institute Graduates 2015 Flying high & Taking off

Congratulations Raffles Design Institute Graduates 2015! It’s been a long journey and now its time for you to fly high and make your way to the real world.

raffles school of design 2015-16

It has been one of my long time dream to have my own line of clothing. But a lot of things hinders me in doing so. One of the biggest factor is the lack of enough knowledge to understand a simple shirt construction. Education could really help me with that. I may be on the mid-age but I guess going back to school is not yet too late. Those were actually the things that I thought off when I attended the graduation day of the design students of Raffles Design Institute.

The event was held in Dusit Thani Hotel Poolside Pavilion, Makati City. The theme was ascend, which means ‘go upward’, and it is very prominent in place, from the passport-like invitation, to the registration area, the usherettes in stewardess uniforms, and even the lines heard spoken by the voice over talent.

I came in early at the event and wasn’t planning to stay for long for I have another event to attend to after an hour. So i just look and around and found out some artsy pieces.

I found out that the graduates are not just composed of fashion designer students, but also graduates from Visual Communication and Interior Design. We been given a chance to talk to them and have a sneak peak on what’s happening at the back stage. Thou wasn’t really absorbing everything my co-bloggers are asking, for I was more interested in looking what’s inside the rack.
