GOT fans! Brace yourselves! HBO Asia brings to Manila a Game of Thrones life-sized replica of the Iron Throne, as seen in the series.

And heres an update, HBO Asia’s life-sized replica of the Iron Throne will be at National Book Store’s Glorietta 1 outlet from April 19 to 28, for fans to experience and photograph.
And luckily, I was the 6th person (yes I did count) to sit on the Iron Throne replica, as it was unveiled yesterday (April 8, 2015) at Fully Booked.
Maxene Magalona was the first followed by Sea Princess Tesa Prieto.
Then a bunch of Cosplayers, can you guess who they were cosplaying?
Saab Magalona and her husband Jim was also there. (Check out Jim Bacarro Sings ‘Till there was you” to Saab)

“GAME OF THRONES is the first of our many HBO Original series to premiere in Asia the same time as the U.S., and the first television series to debut worldwide in over 170 countries simultaneously,” said Angela Poh, HBO Asia’s Manager of Communications. “We’re so pleased bring this opportunity for our fans in the Philippines to experience the Iron Throne live. The series is such a huge global phenomenon and we know what a huge hit it is in the Philippines.”

The highly anticipated Emmy®– and Golden Globe®-winning GAME OF THRONES returns to the Philippines same time as the U.S. for its new ten-episode fifth season – this Monday, April 13 at 9am on HBO, with a same day encore at 9pm. New episodes debut weekly at the same time. The series will also be available on HBO GO on the same day. (Check out my first GOT shirt here )
I’m so excited to watch the whole season 5, I’m also looking forward of watching the first Asian actress cast in the series, Jessica Henwick. Henwick plays Nymeria Sand, one of the Sand Snakes – the daughters of Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper, a fan favourite of the last season.
