It’s been awhile since the last time I’ve visited a derma clinic. And being to lazy to put on creams and moisturisers, it resulted to a few breakouts and irregular skin tones on my face. Squeezing in time on a Friday afternoon, I was introduced to this upscale brand of skin care clinic called Luminisce.
Just across St. Luke’s the Fort, above Mercury drug building, this fancy looking Skin Care clinic can be located.
I met Dr. Kristina ‘Kaycee’ Cuevas Reyes of Luminsce, known as Dra. Kaycee, she’s the expert behind this skin care clinic. The clinic, fancy as it may seem was the opposite equivalent of how approachable and accommodating Dra. Kaycee is.
Before my ‘sesh’ starts, she makes sure to know me (the patient) first and the services that I’ll need. She believes that a tailor-fit and individualized approach to managing skin and weight problems is an effective way to take care of her patients. And it is!

After the short assessment, I was assisted by two of her staff, now its time for the much needed R&R.
Using state of the art technology and modified health treatments, Dra. Kaycee lined up a series of services that they would be doing for me today.
Luminisce Luxury Facial
We started off with the Luminisce Luxury Facial. It’s a special facial treatment that deep cleans pores and removes bacteria-causing acne, trapped dirt, and excess oil, while minimizing pores up to 2 weeks! And while it is being done, Ultra Firme RF is also being use for my tummy area, to burn those fats.
Clear Laser Peel followed then the Coquille Peel that brings back my skin’s healthy and youthful glow (hahaha! Brings back talaga!).

After a few minutes Dra Kaycee came in to do the Acne Surgery, well honestly pricking zits on my nose and upper lip area is really painful. But I’m not complaining, it’s just how it goes. And I need to undergo to it. Dra. Kaycee uses laser treatment to make zits heal faster.
Interestingly, Dr. Kaycee suggested me to try their Carboxytherapy. Carbon Dioxide is infused directly into fact cells, resulting in tighter and firmer skin. This process melt fat cells, improve blood circulation, and efficiently reduce the appearance of cellulite. Most patients here favor Carboxytheraphy because of its fast, easy and effective procedure. Did I mention that this process includes injection to your fatty area? (ouch!)
