Was looking for the right time for this and finally I got a chance to squeeze in some time to do a Me time! Ending up the year with some pampering like a king at Princess Hazel Salon and Spa located just a few minutes walk coming from West Avenue cor Quezon Avenue, Princess Hazel Salon and Spa is so easy to be located, the building is situated just in front of McDonalds, besides National Bookstore, at the second floor of Pacific Century tower.
I was welcome by the young owner the princess behind the salon, Hazel Uy who’s a cosmetology alumna of the Center for Aesthetics Studies. The location is a bit hidden, but it actually gives privacy to all their clients.
Let’s go inside.
At the entrance of Princess Hazel Salon and Spa, a menu of the services can already be located at the right side near the door at the front, you will be welcomed by their logo along with some trinkets at the left side being sold here at the spa.
A four seater throne for foot spa and other sit down services can be located at the first floor. Moving a bit further a two seater salon where you can avail haircuts and other hair services can be located. At the left side, facials and other face treatments are held.
At the second floor, a room for waxing and RF services can be found along with their two beds allocated for massage services, which Im about to experience in a short while. By the way, for the hair waxing services they are using hot wax based and you can opt for your hair to be remove on your face, torso, arm, legs, bikini area or even go Brazilian (Php 800) or full body waxing (Php 2,500).
I’ve been able to try for the first time the Back Paraffin, where a hot wax is gradually putted on to your back which is good for relieving back pain and so called “Lamig“. It was scary hot at first, but totally relaxing after the second layer was applied. Back Paraffin service cost Php 900.00 by the way.
Next, the masseur asked me to choose any from the variety of massages they are offering and I’ve decided to go on a “Combination“. Its a massage where your body is partly oiled (back area only) and focus mostly on press and stretching. The Full Body Massage cost Php 450.00.
I like it the hard way … I’m talking about the massage here, and it was satisfied on how it was delivered. The Full Body massage session lasted for an hour and a hot tea was serve right after.
Hello Senorita J. 🙂
Aside from the usual Manicure (Php 200) and Pedicure (Php 250) they area also offering Paraffin Waxing for the foot and hand (Php 900/Php 600 respectively). This I would want to try on my next visit. (And maybe hair waxing too). I’m so happy with the services, look at my toe nails, it look so clean! hahaha!
By the way, crowns can also be found almost everywhere, you can play around and act like a King or Queen, take a selfie and don’t forget to tag them up @ilovehairph on Instagram and follow them on Facebook.com/princesshazeluy.
Will I recommend it?
Sure thing! If your near the place, this could be perfect specially if you opt to have a peaceful and private place, also:
- The back massage was satisfying
- The pedicure was fast and neatly done
- Complimentary drinks are available
- and they have a very fast WI-FI!
