I seldom cover entertainment events. Maybe in the years that I’ve been blogging, I only got a few, this occurs only if and ever there is something that I like in what I’ll be covering. Recently I’ve been invited to attend the blogger’s event for the upcoming movie “My Big Bossing”, not really such a fan of Pinoy movies, but because of my fondness with child star Ryza Mae Dizon, I decided to say yes.
The event was held at Guilly’s in Tomas Morato, Quezon City and was well attended by blogger friends and supporters.
At the press conference I have noted 7 things to know about My Big Bossing’s Adventure, Bossing Vic Sotto’s entry to this years Metro Manila film festival.
1. My Big Bossing is an anthology with three different stories all starring him and Ryza Mae Dizon. “Sirena” will feature Ryza Mae as a mermaid, “Taktak” is a horror story, while “Prinsesa” is a “Frozen”-inspired tale about royalties.
2. ‘Sirena’ was actually an idea that came from Ryza and her persistence and dream to portray as a mermaid, while the other two were the product of brainstorming.
3. This is the first movie of the 4 year old Alonzo, son of the former child star Nino Mulach, who then appeared first at Pinoy Big Brother.
4. The movie also stars Marian Rivera, Zoren Legaspi, Pauleen Luna, Jose Manalo, Maricar de Mesa, Nino Mulach, Manilyn Reynes, Rufa Mae Quinto and Nikki Gil who also sang the theme song of the movie.
5. The film was directed by 3 different directors, Joyce Bernal for Prinsesa, Marlon Rivera for “Taktak” and Tony Reyes for “Sirena”.
6. Toni Gonzaga will have a special participation in the film.
7. “My Big Bossing” will be shown on your favorite cinemas starting December 25, 2014.
Chillin’ like a boss!
