Every year, I’m always excited to visit Asia’s biggest and longest running convention for collectibles, toys, anime, comics, cosplay, gaming and anything and everything related to hobbies and collections. The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention, or TOYCON was held last June 20, 21 and 22, 2014 at SM Megatrade Halls 1, 2 and 3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
This was, I think where I first met my blogger friend who also is one of the organiser of this event, Azarael Coladilla (azraelsmerryland.com).

Now on its 13th year, the community just even grow bigger. It was like a big costume party with your favourite anime and superhero characters lining up at SM Megamall. Enthusiast all over the metro gathered in costumes all for the fun and excitement for this much anticipated event. It is, simply put, the biggest pop culture event in the country.
This time on my visit, I fancied more on the toys displayed rather than the Cosplayers, thou new Cosplayers are also a delight to see having challenging customes to wear on the event. There is also a portion where celebrities like Roxee B. singed autographs for UNO magazine fans.
And off course the toys! Most of the collections are marvel characters from X-Men, Superheroes like Superman, Spiderman and Batman, Animes like Samurai-X and other toys like G-I Joe, Chucky Dolls (Which I love to take home) and even John Snow from Game of Thrones.
