✪ Blushing is the involuntary reddening of a person’s face due to embarrassment or emotional stress, though it has been known to come from being lovestruck, or from some kind of romantic stimulation. Severe blushing is common in people who suffer social anxiety in which the person experiences extreme and persistent anxiety in social and performance situations. (source. Wikipedia)
Well, I myself have lots of things that makes me blush, one is when I do mistakes and been embarrass in front of a person or a crowd, two is when my crush unexpectedly greeted me, and three is when friends are teasing me over to a person who happens to be I secretly admiring. Hihihi! ヅ
I actually didn’t known why these things happen not until I goggled it. I also found out that there’s a scientific explanation about it, talking about capillaries and blood stream and other biological stuff that is making a person red specially when embarrass.
And speaking of blushing, there is this one establishment that I discovered recently that makes people perfectly blush without having the feeling of being embarrass but instead being pampered!
Make me Blush is a newly opened spa and salon located at New Hemady Square along E. Rodriguez in Quezon City. It is owned and operated by Alyssa Apostol who happens to be a professional make-up artist and who has been telling that Make me Blush has been her dream come true.
Make me Blush is on its 2nd Month of operation but people around the area are already hearing about the buzz in this newly opened establishment.
I came along with blogger friends; Ruth and John, to experience the variety of services here in Make me Blush.
INTERIORS
Make my Blush interior is really cute and very feminine. It is well lighted and has that very homey feeling. I actually like how they intentionally segmented the area and putting a nice fence inside to separate it. They have a salon area, nail and foot area and a room dedicated for massages.
SERVICES
I decided to try their spa, while Ruth and John decided to have their nails done. With the variety of massages they are offering, I decided to choose the so-called Deep Tissue Massage, which targets those stress and tight muscles. The massage lasted for an hour and was really satisfying. As I describe it “Masakit pero Masarap” (painful but relieving), the massage service costs Php 450 per session. According to the masseur, you’ll find the deep tissue massage very effective if you will felt a relax composure after and releases toxin in your body through peeing, burping or bowel movement. It is also recommended to drink tap water or warm water afterwards.
Make me Blush is your one-stop-shop for all your pampering needs and is open from 10am to 8pm and do accepts walk-ins but I suggest you do a reservation before visiting so you would know if there would be lots of guest lining up in a particular services you wanted to try.
