✪ Aloha everyone! sharing here what I wore from the Garage Magazine event recently. It was an event held at Skye Lounge at the Fort, the themed was set to be called as “Aloha Cool”. It was fairly a nice and simple event attended by a lot of designers, people in the fashion industry, models, VIP guests and of course bloggers.
The theme makes the scene a bit more cosy and light, and I actually felt more comfortable rather than the usual coat and tie events. Check out Folded and Hung’s newest collection featuring Bang Pineda Click here
Whenever an event is themed in Hawaiian, the first thing that usually struck in my mind is to wear something summery or with flowery design, somehow relative to what former Mayor Atienza is always wearing. Check out the February issue of Garage Magazine.
What I’m wearing: Tailor made Button Down Shirt and Pants ; shoes from SM Milanos, Socks from Uniqlo, Sunnies from Sprinto.
But this time I actually thought of making it a bit different, I describe my attire as the “Asianized Hawaiian Look”. The button down shirt was tailor-made from a cloth given to me by a friend who visited Malaysia recently.
I was actually happy that i’ve been notice from the event and was featured in one of the articles in Manila Bulletin. Heres the link of the feature in the recent article from Manila Bulletin entitled Pacific Hits.
Do you like Malaysian Prints? What would be your style if you have given a themed called Aloha Cool? Send me your thoughts about it! ♣
