Skyscanner Travel Bloscars 2014‘s nominated bloggers have been revealed! The presentation was held at M Café in Makati hosted by Skyscanner. The chosen best travel blog here in Asia will compete for the International Travel Bloscars 2014 which the winner will receive Php145,000 worth of free flights.
The Travel Bloscars 2014 is an award given by Skyscanner to travel blogs from selected countries in Europe and Asia. It recognizes the excellent work of travel bloggers in informing and inspiring travellers by sharing their adventures and first-hand experience.
Aside from the presentation, it was also the first time that Skyscanner held a kapihan with the bloggers. It was a fun filled and exciting travel kwentuhan and it was nice that they held this kind of simple yet fun coffee time to just sit back, relax and do some fun activities along with new and old blogger friends.

After that, Ferds from Fleishman and Skayscanner Sn. Manager Ms. Janet Ranola hosted the event. Some bloggers shared some of their traveling experiences and shared some tips on booking flights.
We also had some fun games where one of the grand prizewinner took home a new Ipad Mini! Now going back to the Bloscars Event, You can also vote and support your favorite bloggers. More pictures here.
10 final nominees have been selected by Skyscanner. The Voting will run from the 27th of January to 23rd of February 2014 and votes can be placed once a week. Your votes will count for 50% of the total score and the rest will come from Skyscanner.
At the end of the month Skyscanner will count the votes and announce the Singapore Bloscars Travel Awards 2014 Winner on 3rd of March.
Each travel blogger will have a profile page showcasing their work in Skyscanner, so that you can choose wisely. Remember that whoever wins the award will represent your country to compete for the International Bloscars Award!

What is at stake for the winners?
The winners for the Best Travel Blog from each participating country will each receive Php50,000 worth of flights. They will also be invited in to the Skyscanner regional headquarters in Singapore for the awarding, where one will receive a surprise award.
The international winner will receive Php145,000 worth of free flights.
