The biggest award-giving body that honors the Philippines‘ top digital artists is set to blown each creative minds this coming year. The National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA), launched by Globaltronics, seeks not only to recognise the talents of the artists but also to showcase the capabilities of the local digital art community. Globaltronics sees the potential of homegrown artists and the company believes that given the chance, Filipino talent can excel globally.
Launched last November 15, 2012, hundreds of entries all over the country submitted their entries in both motions graphics and print in two different categories, Amateur and Professional.
Eight industry leaders judge the 35 finalist trimming it down to 13 winners who bagged a total cash prize of 3 million pesos!
It was a great success for the team that even their FB page went up from 14k to 32k. The awarding concert took placed last September 20 2013 at SM MOA Music Hall. Around 500 people attended, with performances from Up Dharma Down, General Luna, Circa, Erik Santos, Mark Mabasa, Ebe Dencel and other guest performers.
