I have this awkwardness in including a pair of brown shoes to my whole line of outfit, that is the reason why, I usually opted not to buy brown and instead picked the usual black shoes. But you know in the business I’m into, taking some risked could be a bold move, that is why i said to myself, lets get out of our comfort zone and explore more on Colors and variety of what fashion could offer.
Luckily at the spark of my idea I came across the 3-day Great Northern Sale in SM City North EDSA , where in shoes are being sold up to 50 percent off. One of my favourite place to visit when I’m in the department store is at the SM’s Milanos area. Wherein stylist shoes for an affordable price can be seen. Im actually waiting for this moment and luckily have an extra time to go shopping. Here’s what I picked up;
I particularly love the color as well as the simple design and off course the price, at staggering 500 pesos each! Costing me only a thousand to purchase two shoes.
Upon reading some other blogs and learning from it, i’ve learned that every gentleman should know that when pairing suits and shoes is to avoid putting brown and black together, especially a black suit and brown shoes. This is actually one look that simply does not work but then again, rules are made to be broken so if you want to try it, well its up to you. Other than that, i’ve also learned that just about any combination will work but some combinations will work better than the others. Actually, Brown shoes look great with just about every color of suit, especially navy, grey and blue.
That is why i think I’m now ready to go dapper, bringing a bolder move in style, but then again, I think I will be needing a coloured suite now other than black! Damn! That means another set of big savings! haha! Will be posting that look soon. ヅ
