Brighter than the sun, Indeed! Solaire Resorts and Casino is the newest world class integrated resort complex that includes a five-star hotel and casino located in the Entertainment City complex along the Bay City area of Paranaque City.
I had a chance to visit the place and have been invited to a social media gathering for a simple yet fun activity along with other bloggers. As early as 2pm, i went out of the office and have been very excited to see what Solaire is all about.
Coming from North Edsa, Quezon City, I have plenty of ways to choose from to reach Solaire. But for a much cheaper ride, Solaire have an allocated shuttles in key points within metro manila that would take guest from one point then straight to Solaire.
Solaire Shuttle rides can be access in areas like SM MOA, Binondo, Greenbelt and the nearest to my place which is in Greenhills. The shuttle ride in Greenhills area can easily be located which is usually park at the Greenhills Theater area in front of Promenade. The orange color of the vehicle makes it more easily to pinpoint as well. I came a bit early and was told by the driver to wait till around 3:15pm. So i just took the liberty to take some shots of the vehicle and kill time.
As the only passenger of the shuttle, I felt like owning the vehicle with my own personal driver. We came a bit early to the expected time at solaire.
Upon entering Solaire, you can instantly see the different casino games that are open for general customers 21 years old and above. Aside from the casino, you can also find here the different high-end Solaire Signature restaurants that includes japanese, american and even chinese concepts. Strip steakhouse, Finestra, Red Lantern and Yakumi could be your choices, but if you are in a tight budget, a food court can also be seen at the ground floor. I’ve also seen a limited access stairs that will take exclusive Solaire guest to a secluded for members only area.
I was assisted to go at Room 216 where I think the comedy nights are meant to happen. I was the first blogger guest who came and met Myk Cruz in the room, he was a former blogger and now part of the social PR of Solaire. After a short chit chat, i’ve learned that Solaire is principally owned by a filipino maritime port magnate Enrique K. Razon. It was a good thing that i was early and got the chance to take some shots of the room before other bloggers came in.
Around 30-40 bloggers attended the event, and it was a fun activity, though it was a bit crowded in the place, we still had a fun night knowing all the bloggers, meeting new friends and of course enjoying the fun and comedic acts by the guest comedians for the night. We did enjoy all the games as well. and off course who would not enjoy the sumptuous food prepared for the bloggers.
Until the next event!
