It is not so frequent for me to dine and have a tasty steak for lunch. For the reason, one, Steaks as all we know is quite hard in the pocket, two, connected to the first line, before spending my money I make sure first that what I am getting is worth the money Ill be spending.
So that is the reason that when I was invited to try this new steakhouse, even with a very tight schedule, I did manage to visit and enjoy lunch with fellow bloggers even thou I did came a bit late.
Chops Chicago Steakhouse is the newest buzz in offering variety of different steak cuts, along with seafood, and pasta dishes. Chops Chicago Steakhouse is located at the 4th floor, Greenbelt 5 in Makati City and has made a huge impact on the manila restaurant scene as a true blue steaklovers steakhouse.
The overlook of Chops exudes a masculine vibe, with strong elements of decor like stone, brick and hardwood panels, and all the moderm aspects of comfort and casual dining ready to cater to power lunches, business meetings, gentlemens night out and dinner dates.
Chops also serves single malts, bourbons and cocktails to accompany your favorite steak cut. The wine list is a short but sweet selection of unique wines, carefully selected, not only to compliment the rich and deep flavors of the menu, but to cater to the different tastse preferences of our customers.
Upon my arrival at the resto, fellow bloggers have already up to finish their main course, Im a bit far from catching up, good thing the beautiful Manager Celina Le-Neindre, has been very accommodating to help me catch up everything that i missed.
Currently Chops is very eager to present to thier customers their Executive Lunch or the Set Menu 888 which is a power lunch compose of Soup of the day or Caesar Salad, Wisconsin Tenderloin with Siding and Sauce plus delicious Dark chocolate Cigars for dessert. This was actually what everybody’s having for the bloggers lunch.
This was actually the main course, the Wisconsin Tenderloin with Siding and Sauce actually costs Php 850 per 8oz, that is why it’s actually a big savings if you just ordered for the Executive Lunch instead which only costs Php888. The full-packed protein meat is actually very tender, juicy, and easy for the bite. Ms. Celina actually prepared it to me in medium rare, but I secretly called the waiter to have it well done. Well I was caught hahaha! Sorry Ms. Celina, just a preference, Im having a hard time eating meat unless its well done.
Definitely a power lunch for having overload protein plus deliciously cheesy carbohydrates. 🙂
This is what appetizers is all about! I was actually shocked when this was serve on my table. The Charboiled Slab of Bacon is definitely an eye-catcher and a kick to start the dining experience here at Chops! The big servings is definitely for sharing and bacon lovers will absolutely loved its sweet but just right tastes.
Finishing the lunch date with Chops Dark Chocolate Cigars which is a dark chocolate cannoli, Bourbon mascarpone cream filling and white chocolate ash.
Aside from the delicious servings Haven for business people, Chops is equipped with a fast wi-fi connection, international magazines and newspapers, a fax, copy machine, scanner, as well as pens and notebooks to make for a productive power lunch.
