Fresh ingredients, wooden furniture, green scenery, cool and fresh air could not be only experienced in the province, all of these could be found right at heart of Ortigas, Pasig City!
The restaurant is all made up of wooden materials down to their furniture’s. Kubo’s at the side near the garden can also be used and is perfect for big groups of people. Making the restaurant open air was awesomely thought off, having been positioned between tall buildings, the air perfectly circulating in the restaurant giving a fresh and cool breeze that adds up to the overall appeal of the restaurant.
I had a chance to chat with the present manager of Sophia’s Villa. Trisha Vistan, still a college student, is currently taking up a course of HRM and been assigned by her parents to manage and make the restaurant her training ground for business.
As told by Trisha, her contribution was to add up fresh ideas, which she learns from school and apply a youthful touch to the restaurant. Knowing that there are Dampa places as well near there area, Tricia reiterated that they wanted to separate and gave a new touch to Dampa restaurant and make it an alternative place to visit by families near the area as well as visitors coming from around the city.
Vistan Family is in the seafood business selling it in dampa markets, they are also a close relatives of the owners of the popular Robbies Dampa located in Macapagal Area in Pasay City. The whole clan owns different dampa restaurant in manila.
And off course when we say Dampa Seafood Paluto, it would mean a broad range of cooking styles. One could request how a certain ingredient could be cooked! And to try some, here are the foods we ordered.
All-in-all, the ambiance and food greatly blend with each other making the place definitely feel like your in the province yet enjoying the luxury of fresh foods in Dampa style.
