My activity on the first day usually sums up what will be my months highlights. This July, the month started with the theater play “Rak of Aegis.” Eventually, it was followed by a series of different cultural activities like Virgin Lab Fest, Eto na Musikal nAPO, Elements Music Festival, and other fashion related activities like Gayak Fashion Show, EFS Photoshoot and the chance to be styled by Daryl Chang at Uniqlo. It has been a blast this month, especially when I attended the Tough Mudder Race and bonded pretty well with my Tough Mudder crew. We even had drawn some plans of traveling to places like Tagaytay (which I wasn’t able to join) and La Union, which is soon to be fully painted by the crew.
DAY 1 – RAK OF AEGIS
Watched Rak of Aegis for the first time this season with my theater buddy Edward Santos. What others say is really true that even if I already watched Rak of Aegis before and already know the story, watching a different set of cast can really give that different kind of feels.
DAY 4 – TOKYO-TOKYO
Tokyo Tokyo is now
making premium wagyu cubes more affordable and accessible. Tokyo Tokyo’s Wagyu Cubes are
made from 100% locally-raised wagyu beef, transporting Filipinos to a Japanese taste adventure by
giving us a premium Japanese experience. To have a taste of it, I invited my friend Sheng to have lunch at the nearest branch in my place. Yum!
DAY 5 – Events Day: G -Shock / Monster Milkshake / Ant vs. Wasp
After the G-Shock event, I invited a few bloggers to have a taste of Monster Milkshake, which is also located on the same building. After hanging out at the place, Ruth, Duane, Rod and I then decided to watch the movie Ant vs Wasp in Trinoma.
Day 6 – Gayak Fashion Show Rehearsal
I wasn’t able to attend the most recent practice for the Gayak Fashion Show so I said to myself that I should be present on the final rehearsal in Pampanga. It was a Friday and it was my first time driving from Manila to Apalit using my car. I felt proud of myself but also afraid that the car wouldn’t make it on the said place. Luckily, It did.
Gayak Fashion Show was held right after our International Thanksgiving in Apalit Pampanga.
I was already problematic the whole day because of what happened to my car overnight. I slept inside the car the whole night and forgot to turn off the vehicle. The battery was discharged and the car wouldn’t start at all. Good thing, I was able to ask help from friends in the area and have manage to fix my car so I could be able to go home on that day. Lesson learned to never forget to turn off the vehicle the next time you sleep in the car.
DAY 8 – SPBB at Locale of Visayas Avenue
DAY 9 – Tough Mudder Training
DAY 12 – Photoshoot for Uniqlo with Daryl Chang
I won at Daryl Chang’s Uniqlo promo on Instagram! Yay! So, I was contacted by Daryl Chang herself for me to be able to claim the GC’s along with a free styling and photo/video shoot from here. Fellow blogger, Sarah Tirona was the other winner from the said promo. On that special day, Uniqlo arrange a video shoot where me and Sarah was able to wear clothes from Uniqlo styled by Ms. Daryl Chang. Here is my final video;
After the shoot, I hurriedly drive to CCP to meet with Edward to watch Set C of this years Virgin Lab Fest. This set was one of the best set (for me) this year.
Day 14 – Virgin Lab Fest Set A & Set E
I was in CCP for 3-straight days, just to watch this years Virgin Lab Fest. I am not complaining but instead thankful that I was able to see it, and its for free!
Day 16 – Fossil Customization event
Attended the Fossil Customization event held at Uptown Mall Bonifacio. I hang out with Victor, Culver and Mauro as well on that day. After the event and doing some collection in Makati, I went to Obstacle Course Factory in Makati to attend the last day training for Tough Mudder Philippines before the main event coming over the weekend.
Day 19 – BLK 513
Day 21 – EFS Apparel Photoshoot
Day 22 – Tough Mudder Race!
The long wait was finally over! My Tough Mudder crew have succeeded in conquering the first event TM race in the Philippines. It was raining and muddy that made the course even more difficult. Thanks Merrell Philippines and Tough Mudder PH for making this happen. Thanks as well to my strong team! Until our next race.
Day 23 – Shopping and Sneaky Shoot with Lharby Policarpio
Day 24 – Hosting at Maxxis Event / Marikina Meetup with Kenneth Surat
I’ve been hosting for a very long time, but for the record, up to now, I am still afraid doing events hosting. I think friends who attended the recent Maxxis event have notice that. Honestly, I am confuse on whether to pursue this career path or not.
After the event, I met up with Kenneth in Marikina for some exciting project that hopefully all of you would love and support. Can’t wait to spill it all out!
Day 26 – Backjoy x Yoga plus
Had a chance to bond with my couple friend Rhea and Jeff, after the Backjoy x Yoga+ event in Makati.
Day 28 – Off to Baler, Aurora
My friend Joel has been bugging me a few weeks ago for me to join him go to the beach. I tag along Paeng and finally, the trip become a reality. On the evening of July 27 going to 28, we met up at Genesis Bus Terminal in Cubao and hop in to JoyBus heading to Baler, Aurora.
We stayed in Baler for 3 days.
Day 31 – Dinner + Movie Night with TM Crew
Last day of the month was spent with my Tough Mudder crew. Funny that most of us were from QC, but still we manage to do the meet up in SM Aura, just to be able for Nick to join (and for the free food, thanks Rackshack). After dinner, we went to my cinema (hehehe), Uptown Mall to watch Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible.
